Ordered the 6 qt Duo for younger D. I had it sent to her and Iām going to tell her to not open it till Hanukkah. Iām sure she wonāt wait but I donāt know when Iāll see her and I donāt want to pay to ship it later.
@jym626 - Iāve settled into mainly using my pressure cooker for making chicken soup. It is so much easier and makes a strong broth every time versus cooking on the stovetop. For me it is worth it for just that one use.
Natural Pressure Release = means do not open the pressure valve to let the steam out, the pressure will naturally drop as the pot cools.
NPR = Natural Pressure Release. When NPR is called in recipe, you should let it release pressure naturally and wait until the pin drops before opening the lid.

OK I am done with cyber-shopping. I have to return/ship back the wrong edition of a book that came today (I have reordered the correct edition), I bought 3 boxes of peets coffee major dickasons blend kcups (had the coffee at DSās house over the holiday and it was DELISH!!) - bought the 16 pk for $10 apiece on kohls online (was cheaper than amazon) , no shipping and will get 5% back on my Discover card and 4% back on mrrebates. Also ordered replacement batteries for our 6 cordless handheld phones that are throughout the house. And, the newspaper delivery people didnāt honor our vacation hold for 2 of the 4 days I asked them to stop the paper, so the paper gave me a $5 credit, extending the renewal about 2 weeks. And I am off to pick up my RX refill of something that would cost $172ā but will costā¦ zero. My work here is done! :D/
Just printed the 16 eslices from Cheesecake factory. I am waiting for them to mail me the 8 $25 gift cards I ordered. I also finished making my 5 USPS flat rate boxes for family & loved ones. I am debating whether to wait to put in a Cheesecake gift card as well in one of themāwill probably settle for including a check instead. The boxes are full of HI goodies for folks that live in CA and elsewhere. I am now starting to think of what to give folks who will be here for the holidays. Hmmmmm.
Found a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans on clearance at Nordstrom Rack, and then an additional 30% off all clearance items through today - so I only paid $63 for a pair of $225 jeans!
The Duo instapot was 68 dollars on Amazon as deal of the day, went back up the next day to normal price and is now back

I already gave out all the CPK gift cards I purchased but at least I have the $30 rewards for myself. Nieces and nephews were very happy. Still holding off on the Cheesecake Factory giftcards but I think I better purchase them soon. My credit card is getting too much exercise these days. Iāve been trying to give it a days rest.

Am a little bummed that I got DS the LUX rather than the DUO, but for $49 or so, itās ok. Iāll see if I use my DUO.
We donāt like the Cheesecake Factory in our city much but itās OK when we are in CA and go to one thatās not so crowded. Ours in Waikiki tends to be VERY crowded, but if you go when it 1st opens, Itās not too bad.
May give gift cards to niece and check to nephew. We donāt know them too well and donāt see them often. I donāt get feedback from niece, even after spending time selecting things I think sheād like. :-(. Nephew is more grateful.
@himom I finally bought one of the Cheesecake giftcards for dd. I know she would love it. I really donāt want to do anymore shopping now.
