SilverCloud Hotel in Seattle sent me a survey about our stay Saturday night.
A suite with a wonderful view (Gāson stayed with us and we needed a pool).
I simply honestly answered the survey thinking it was just a robo survey.
Got and email today thanking me for saying the wallpaper needed to be glued back and
that the fireplace grate was half off and dirty ($400!!! a night).
So I am now getting a $75 credit to my CC for telling them this information.
Just putting my story here since I donāt know where else to put it.
This morning I received an email from ebates stating that I had just earned $149 cashback on my last purchase.
I looked at my transactions and ebates had posted that I had made a $2500 purchase at this one store when I had only made a $13 purchase online. I freaked out and called my cc company to inform them that I had an unauthorized purchase on my card. When talking to the rep she stated no such purchase had posted to my cc. She put a note on my account should there be any suspicious charges to my account.
I then contacted ebates with my transaction information and that I noticed this transaction on my ebates account with this large cashback bonus. Turns out it was a technical error that will be fixed but for a second my heart stopped thinking an unauthorized purchase had been made.
If anyone uses ebates I would say just check your account to see if you see any unusual cashback bonuses for significant purchases as I was getting several cashback emails on transactions that never occurred.
If you have a pup this could be a good buy! This company is giving FREE doggie baseball caps - limit 2 - you pay shipping only - they are pretty adorable and might be a good idea for summer heat or rain! Why the heck not?!

@doschicos will report back on the hat staying on the head! Because ears tuck into it and there is elastic for around the chin I think the chance for staying put increases. My dog is also quite docile . Fit will be key.

@raclut Yes! We have been finding some good stuff this summer. We got an over the door mirror and pop up hamper for my sonās dorm room a couple weeks ago, and last weekend, we got a set of lenses for his phone. You never know what they will have. The water bottles look like a good deal!
