I rarely post here, but today I scored. I stopped in a womenās boutique after gym. I was looking for nice dress/outfit for bat mitzvah morning . When glancing in sales aisle, nicest salesperson said there were many blouses in small sizes, hunted for them, and I bought 5 for $39 each. ONe Trina Turk blouse has original,price tag of $305. So, my work and casual wardrobe updated. Iāve never bought so many tops at once.
I wish all the MOBs and MOGs had this store near them. Dressy clothes and shoes are their specialty.
Iāve had Corelle everyday dishes for 30 years. Iām not really into decorating and I liked how they were lightweight and easy to clean. However, the last couple of years Iāve been thinking of getting some Fiesta or fiesta like dinnerware. Wednesday I went to Kohls to spend the $10 they had e-mailed me for my birthday and use the 30% discount I got in the mail. So, I thought Iād get just that setting to see if I liked it. After my discounts it was about $2.00. I really like the set so bought place settings for eight on line for a cost of $118, including tax. Today I went back to see if my local store had some of the serving pieces that they showed on line. I lucked out. They had some pretty vegetable bowls and a gravy bowl, all marked at $4.99, before my discount. They also had three single plates for $1.99 each. Hopefully, these will not be prone to chipping.

My girls and I are big fans of that trio set. ^^^ They are near Trader Joes - Iāll have to tell them to keep a look out.
Our Costco had New York steaks on sale for $6.99 a pound. They were yummy.

Also, we discovered frozen chicken/mushroom Russian dumplings at TJ. $3.99 a pack - one pack makes a quick dinner for us. Just dump them into a pot of boiling water and bring to full boil. Fast and yummy. I like them with gyoza dipping sauce
Iām pretty sure that if I had to eat only one thing for the rest of my life, dumplings and gyoza sauce would be my choice. Will have to mention the steaks to H. He upgraded his Traeger smoker and āneedsā to cook something on it.
I was at Trader Joeās today but didnāt look at the personal care items. It was such a pumpkin spice fiesta that I had to get away quickly!

I think Trader Joeās wins for having the most pumpkin spiced items. Yesterday I saw almond milk.
I made my every-few-weeks stop at the factory store for the best Greek yogurt in town. Roughly half price for 16oz tubs and one regular price 8 oz of the best mixed berry ever.
I had a taste of their pumpkin pie yogurt. Interesting, but not enough to make me pay for a full container.
Ellenos? Their pumpkin pie one is ok, but mango gets the top ratings from me.
Yes, Ellenos (I always forget the name). The Mango is wonderful, but only plain sweetened, lemon, and a few marionberry today. I love the case full of varieties - it looks like gelato. The small containers are 5 for $10, but 5 pumpkin is about 4 too many.
5 for $10? Wow. That is a good deal.

Krispy Kreme is giving away free coffee. If you show up when the sign is lit (Hot and Ready) they will give you a free donut!
Editing to say, that is apparently up to the owner of that location. SOME Krispy Kremes give away a donut when the Hot Light is on.
Today was my lucky day. Stopped at the library to pick up a hold, glanced at the used book sale, and found The 36 Hour Day, a book Iāve recently checked out as an e-book twice, and ran out of time reading. It cost me 25 cents! Then, I stopped in Target to find a new garbage can since our lid broke, was thrilled to find they had the same lid that I have now and love, but there was no matching can. After waiting at customer service for a long time, they told me to just take the lid! They didnāt have the matching can and it was on clearance so no more were coming in. I donāt need the can anyway, just the lid! I should have stopped somewhere to play lotto.
