I don’t know what the stores are still selling! I have an iPad Air 2. It cost double what this one is advertised as costing…and I believe it is still being sold, even though the Pro was released over a year ago.
This sounds like a good deal for a basic iPad. Just remember…it has 32 for memory which is not a lot. I totally wish I had gotten a LOT more memory on mine…but I use it for work and have a couple hundred purchased applications.
But this sounds good!
Apple is still selling the 6se phone…even though the 10 has been released. I keep waiting for a little pop up telling me I can’t update my iOS on my phone…it will happen sooner for my SE than for the 8 or 10. That’s what I think anyway…and what my comment meant.
^^^THANK YOU. I appreciate your info. My iPad is SOO old - literally the 2nd version to come out after the original. I don’t need tons of space - don’t keep pictures on my iPad or take them.
Regarding the iPad 9.7. That’s the new 2017 model. It’s not the pro or the air. Just a regular iPad.
I think I had mentioned on another thread… My son bought this for himself this summer and he loves it. He had an original ipad 2 and this was a super nice upgrade. He can watch youtube and netflix right from is dorm lofted bed, and not disturb his roommate. He opted for the space gray since the black edges look better when when watching videos (recommendation of BB employee).
He bought it for $279, I think, as a Christmas in July sale price. The price of $249 is a really great deal. I would love to upgrade my old iPad 2, but too many other expenses for me this time of year.
@raclut, yes. I believe the coupon is only one time use. I tried to buy two and it only took off $13 (one coupon). So I only bought one tooth brush as a result.
The iPad was one of Target’s Black Friday specials. I bought one using the Target gift cards received when I upgraded my iPhone. I too had a really old iPad which was crashing due to low memory. No problems with glitching or crashing anymore. This one is even lighter and more comfortable to use.
@4beardolls - Thanks for the toothbrush mention! My son wanted one, but I had already spent about as much as I wanted to for him, but for $14, that was a no-brainer!
One more plug for the moviepass for sale from Costco https://www.costco.com/MoviePass-and-Fandor-12-Month-Subscription-eVoucher.product.100395930.html My daughter had one that she paid more for and we tried it out this weekend. It was very easy to use. She “checked in” on her phone as soon as we parked and immediately got a text saying the price of the ticket had been loaded to her special moviepass debit card. She got her ticket as easily as I did with my credit card. I bought them for her brothers. Pretty cool concept.
I would like to add that I got the $11.95 Sonicare rechargeable toothbrush using my Amazon Prime account and clicked coupon. I am not sure about the logistics if one does not have Prime.
Two Springsteen tickets for a Sat night and first row balcony. They are 5 times of purchase price now. I am going to sell them this time. Merry xmas to me.
I got a toothbrush too. Thanks. I got one last year for my daughter who had specifically asked for one. I might give this one to the other daughter or just keep it for myself. I have not gotten an email to say it had shipped so doubt it will be here by Thurs.
Stopped at Target to get some new jeans. A sign is still up stating “Spend $50, get $10 gift card” So I texted Style to the number. It came back that the sale was 2 days only and ended yesterday. Used Cartwheel which had 20% off those jeans. Made sure the jeans were last to be scanned. The gift card was not offered during checkout, but by telling the clerk that the sale sign was posted, she called the manager who gave us $10 off as a “coupon”. The pants were normally $30, got them for $18 each once the ‘coupon’, 20%, and red card discounts were taken.
