Finally replaced the knives we had that we both bought right after college.
Got for 145. they had a sale and a coupon which made the price just under half.
@notrichenough that would only be if he was playing a Walking Dead character! Lol.
Awhile back, bought some closeout toys from CVS for 75% off. Was able to get a mat and 20 cars for $2.50, some mega block walking tots for $5 (normally $20 apiece), FisherPrice toyset $5 (normally $20). The gifts were all huge hits!
CVS has valentine’s clearance 90% off - but it also included many of the Christmas items that had not been marked down before. I went to 5 stores, and got 115 boxes of 16 valentines with pencils for .29 each - I will toss the valentines cards and donate the pencils to the city schools. I also got 11 boxed women’s Pajama sets (1.49), 15 pairs of slippers (.99), and 39 gift sets of fuzzy socks (.99). The women’s shelters and homeless center will appreciate these.
I also got 2 Colgate Total toothpaste at $3.49 each, but after the $2 coupon they were $1.49 each, and it kicked of $4 in CVS extra care bucks, so they paid me $.51 to take them.
^^Why don’t you donate the valentine’s cards to the schools too? They could be used for kids who parents can’t or don’t buy valentines and/or used for valentine crafts??
Yes, I’d give the cards to the schools with the pencils. If the teachers and schools don’t want them, they can toss them. They can have the kids repurpose them for Easter, Mother’s Fay or whatever.

Not a ‘buy’ but our health insurance company just sent me a check for over $100 saying they had identified and fixed a pharmacy claims processing error. H is always complaining about the pharmacy overcharging him. I guess he was correct.
I found a site, AirHelp, which showed me we were owed compensation for a 4+ hour flight delay, a few years ago, just got the money credited to my CC. Great deal!

We are going to a wedding in September. I decided to get the bride and groom all of their everyday dishes…and flatware. They registered at Bed Bath and Beyond…I got them 8 place settings of their Fiestaware, and service for 8 of their everyday stainless…total cost with my coupons…$266…including shipping!
This is funny. When they registered, the 40 piece flatware was $90. It was reduced to $40!

Well…funny…BBB change me for 8 place settings…but show 16 have been purchased! I did call…and they assured me that there was NO other person who had purchased these items. It will be interesting to see how many get shipped! BBB customer service claims it will right itself on the website once it ships. Stay tuned!
Found a pair of brand-new, unworn Naot “Matai” shoes at Value Village today. Zappos sells them for $180-I paid $5.50.I recently sprained my ankle and most of my shoes don’t fit quite the same, if I can wear them at all. These fit perfectly. Win-win!
