Lands End has 40% of one item and free shipping over $75. Just ordered an already marked down duffle for one son, got myself a pair of slippers and paid $30 less than the price of the duffle. I almost ordered it last week and am glad I waited.

I adore Zappos. Zappos reviews help with the sizing issue: people will say if a shoe runs true to size, large, or small, not to mention general level of comfort. Not only can you order different shoe sizes at once on Zappos, you can order different styles. If you are looking for a specific type of shoe to go with a particular outfit, it is incredibly easy to go to Zappos, load up your cart with four or five different candidate styles, pick two sizes of each, and end up having a very narrowly defined shoestore delivered to your door the next day. Compare that to running around to several different stores (usually in different malls) to find a pair that worksā¦IF you can find them.

I just had a nice chat with a person at Banana Republic. She helped me find slacks for my S (28x28) ā one is formal navy dress slacks & the other black khakiās. There was 35% off for the dress slacks from BR & 20% off the khakiās from GAP. We can return locally & there was free shipping. It will arrive after 12/25, so he will get a printout gift wrapped (along with many other things we bought for him). Getting both pairs IN HIS SIZE delivered free with a discount makes me very happy! Yesterday, we were able to locate a very few slacks in or near Sās size, but am happy to have a few more that may fit him better & allow him to choose which ones he wants to keep.

OKā¦I thought this was a good buy. DH wanted flannel pajamas. He likes the kind that have a button up shirt. I looked on LLBean and Eddie Bauer but everything in his size was sold out. I finally found a set somewhere for $60ā¦but decided that was TOO much. SOā¦off to Macys. I found two pairs in his size. The price was $40 per pairā¦ahā¦but they had a 40% off signā¦and then there was the 20% off passport. Total cost for the two pairs totalā¦$38. Thatās $19 a setā¦cheaper than going to KMart.

Of course then I bought DH two full price Hugo Boss slim cut shirts (Bunsen Burnerā¦they really are niceā¦āonlyā $95 each). BUT got those at Nordstromā¦and gift box and wrapping was āfreeā (for those shirt pricesā¦it should be free!!).

Iām not a parent but my brother showed me a site keeps track of promising deals on all sorts of products, particularly electronics. I thought Iād share it in case there were some last minute gifts people were looking to get a good price on.

Specifically, I purchased a Garmin 255WT GPS for $80 with free shipping from Best Buy (plus tax).

sheesh. For $95, they ought to send someone over to put the shirt on him, button it up, and tie his tie!

I know when Iām beaten. On pajamas, I finally threw in the towel. I just buy the pants and then buy long-sleeve cotton t-shirts to go with them. When they no longer sell what you want in stores, itās pretty safe to conclude that itās just not in fashion anymoreā¦

Iāve been looking for Ugg boots but refuse to pay $180. Today on Ebay, someone listed Ugg tall boots in various colors and sizes 6, 7, 8 & 9 for $80 buy it now with $15 shipping. I just purchased two. It appears the seller has not sold before but they do have perfect feedback as a buyer so Iām taking a chance.

Wonāt arrive in time for Christmas, but itās my birthday present so I donāt care.

Gap has 40 percent off today

Never mind about the Uggs. I just received an email from the seller claiming there was something wrong with the listing and telling me to go to their website and order them instead. Claimed the price was now $89, with a 5% discount and free shipping. But it just sounds wrong to me, so I told them to honor their deal or I would open a claim.

maybe this is why:

There are many ways to tell if a UGG is a fake. 99% OF ALL UGGS ON EBAY NOW ARE FAKES!!

1) The bottom of the boot is recessed with the UGG insignia in a Classic tall or short Authentic Ugg.Ā A fake is flat.

2) The seller says they are made in New Zealand or Australia for a Classic Tall or Classic Short.

Uggs are Manufactured by Deckers Inc. They have been making them in China for the past 3 years. They used to make them in Australia and New Zealand but have not for 3 years or more.

The uggs that are advertised as made in Australia or New Zealand are FAKES. They are not from Deckers Inc. They have copied the label and insignia but they are not from Deckers Inc.

They are subject to copywright infringment as only Deckers is allowed to use the word UGG. They have also copied Deckers labels and boxes.

4) The ones that are fake do not have a raised insignia on the bottom of the soles.
5) You can report to UGG Australia any fake ones you see on ebay at the bottom of an auction of a Fake UggĀ click on Report this Item.

6) Ugg Australia has required any Authorized Ugg Dealer to promise and sign an agreement not to sell on ebay. This is from the Deckers Web site: āeBay Sellers/On-Line Auctions and Trade Boards:
UGGĀ® Australia does NOT authorize any of its dealers to sell on eBay, any other on-line auctions or trade boards. UGGĀ® Australiaās agreements with its dealers prohibit sales on auction sites. Accordingly, UGGĀ® Australia does not offer its limited warranty or rebates for products purchased on these sites and will not assist with resolution of any disputes including assistance with Pay Pal refund requests.ā If the price is below retail then it is most likey a fake as only Ebay sellers who buy the boots retail are allowed to sell on Ebay. So if theya re buying them retail with tax and having to pay ebay and pay pal fees and they are not seconds and are grade a boots they will be selling for more than retail. Any boots you see being sold less are usually fakes. The price of the boot is a good indicator for a fake.

3bm03 ā Iād file a claim with ebay right now. What the seller is proposing is a classic fraud attempt, and completely contrary to ebayās TOS. Iād be shocked if you ever got authentic Uggs from this transaction.

My best deal was $12 for Dās driverās licenseāgood for the next 4 years! She was so happy to have passed & not have that hanging over her head for the rest of the holiday break! Told her is was a great Christmas present for all of us!

Congrats to your D HImom!

Thanks, Mom2M. She was pretty candid & says that she felt her talking & charming the examiner was key, even though it distracted both of them from the test they both thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. In fact, it was a VERY LONG road test as most of the other folks who started their tests before her ended way before she came back. The examiner was a retired cop who said she was by far the best driver he had ridden with that day. They talked about a great range of subjects and had a splendid time! The tests generally run about 15 minutes, hers was over 30! I figure sheāll likely do a lot of talking when she drives so her talking driving is most like actual conditions. She is a decent and safe driver (not expert by any means, but at least not too over-confident, unlike many of the young males Iāve met).

You need to try Uggs onā¦someone I work with had a pair of size 8 tall black ones that were in the original box. I would have bought them for the $100 she was askingā¦but these boots were a size SEVENā¦they were too small to be size 8.

Skagen watch for S ā $120.00 original price; paid $96.00, which is 20% off + free overnight shipping.

bought Uggs for DIL at Eastern Mountain Sports when they had a 20% off sale on everything in the store - Uggs included.

Restaurant.com coupon code Holiday netted out a $25 coupon at our favorite little french restaurant for $4.

The complete DVD set of āThe Wireā is up on Amazonās Deal of the Day for $75. Gritty, profane, disturbing, violentāand complex, hilarious, moving, intense, and thoroughly compelling. If Dickens were alive now, this is what heād write.
