What is it?

Mine’s odd-numbered essay grades. I always assume that the person who gave me the lower score woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

Mine’s odd-numbered essay grades. I always assume that the person who gave me the lower score woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

Finding out the section I think I did really well on was experimental and that the one I did worse on counted
Three times in a row now. I hate math.

getting an even numbered essay grade because then I know they both hate it.

When I have a lot of “No Error” answers for the writing section’s error identifications.

When i come across a word in the SC, and i try to get a feel for that word but just end up with the wrong vibe.

When I originally mark the right answer for SC only to change it later for some reason. And then finding out. -_- I don’t know why I keep on doing it.

Odd-numbered essay grades by far. It shows subjectivity in the grading, which contradicts the SAT’s main focus.

Loud test takers… I swear the kid next to me was underlining everything during the reading passages. I just heard that pencil “pssssssh” noise constantly…

cgb8007, I’m gonna guess that that guy’s probably an immigrant (southern asian)…

I know how you feel…this Indian guy next to me did that during the reading section for the ACT

Having a math experimental. Three sections of math is enough for me, I’d really rather not have to do another one.

In the middle of your break remembering how to properly answer a question and even remembering which answer was the right one, but being unable to go back and fix it. :(

CLASSof2014… ***? Am I not getting the joke or something?

My pet peeve is probably having the College Band practicing outside. Seriously, I hate it when I get the second writing/third reading/third math and then I wonder which of the sections were experimental.

Classof2014: Not sure what you are talking about. I am an Indian, and I took the test in India, and I don’t remember anyone doing a lot of underlining in CR. Or were you making some joke that I’m not getting?

Some loud female speaker holding a symposium next door.

Questions that I put the wrong answers for.

Having an essay and two reading sections all in a row (first three).

sooo close to 790s and 690s…so close

Knowing the answer, but then bubbling in the wrong letter when transferring to the answer sheet. It’s ridiculous.

Jackhammers in full-use during the test (happened on the PSAT). The test was held in the cafeteria while construction was occurring on the roof and the sidewalk right outside the door. That cost me National Merit consideration since I vastly underperformed by scoring under 200 (I now have a 2350+ SAT).

studying my but off all summer and doing well on all practice tests (2100+) and end up getting a 1970…and doing worse then ever on the CR section
