I would highly recommend 8tracks music. DJ’s (basically anyone) can make a playlist and you can sort through the different options and choose a list. You will need to be able to stream music from a wireless device. I listen all the time from my computer at home and when I walk from my iPhone.

I really enjoyed Alex and Sierra from the X-Factor and was able to find several playlists of their music. Basically, 8tracks pays a royalty to the artists and we listen for free. A good alternative to the other streaming services because you can find a DJ with your tastes and learn new music. Discovered a lot of Indie Rock and Mash-ups and Remixes. They even have categories for work-out mixes.

[8tracks | Radio, rediscovered.](http://8tracks.com/explore/all/popular)

Billy Holiday, “Crazy He Calls Me” and so many other great songs.

Peggy Lee, “Fever”

Justin Timberlake, “Cry Me A River” (I think he’s a great latter-day talent)

Others have mentioned Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Prince.

I would like to thank the CC community for contributing to this thread. I sat up late the other night listening to snippets of any song recommended that I wasn’t familiar with. It took me hours- I think I called it quits at about 3 am. Many of your recommendations I already had, but so many I had not considered, had forgotten, etc. Some are completely unknown and I want to give each and every suggestion consideration because they mean something to you or you wouldn’t have taken the time to post.

THANK you. The CC community is really awesome. I’ve heard of how you have rallied behind other members in times of crisis, and as usual, even in a situation which is the ANTI crisis, you still rally. I want to give each post due consideration, and it may take me awhile. I will benefit no doubt.

Thanks so much, guys. I will have some GREAT playlists as a result of your help!
