Just keep a lookout for me. I’m a redhead and probably the best looking person there :D. My name is Robert

Weather alert – just came back from a visit to Syracuse and so far this month they have had five feet of snow. Be prepared! (Actually it’s raining today, so they may lose some of their accumulation.)

Has anyone got their final confirmation time?

I don’t think they give specific times. you either sign up for the AM or PM session.

I did get a confirmation email though.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Because i’m already scheduled for Jan 19th…i’m just still waiting till I get my final email confirmation.

So from reading the threads I saw someone mentioned that Syracuse tends to ask you to sing more than the two songs required. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, should you prepare more cuts of the songs or just bring in full songs ready to sing?

My daughter (who auditioned and was accepted last year) brought her 2 cut songs and one extra uncut song of each type. She was not asked to sing more than the 2 cuts but it never hurts to be prepared.

My D (now a sophomore at SU) had extra songs but was not asked to sing them. However, she was asked to sing her ballad again, at a different tempo and with a different emphasis. Be prepared to be flexible and follow directions!

I’m auditioning next Friday, the 25th! I am sooo nervous. (and excited!) It’s my first audition! I kind of wish it wasn’t because it’s one of my favorites, but oh well.

Ahhh.
