<p>PA resident here, but gave my application to a lodge in NJ since it was the most convenient. I have not heard anything yet, though. Any other PA residents get a piece of mail/call?</p>
<p>Moved on to state-level judging! Are scholarships only given on (only some places) local level and national level?</p>
<p>Wait quick question. Are all of the people who saying they moved on part of the 500 finalists? Or is that a scholarship from the lodge itself?</p>
<p>No, the 500 finalists are the ones chosen to be National Finalists, announced in March</p>
<p>Okay good. I saw all of these posts talking about acceptances and it got me worried. I haven’t heard anything from them since I sent my application in last December.</p>
<p>We haven’t heard anything either. Added to that, the local chapter has not had a lot of information regarding the process or results.</p>

<p>My local lodge didn’t have information, so I called the state lodge that does the scholarship, and they were able to tell me I moved on to states 
so I’d give them a call!</p>
<p>Got a letter on Friday that S13 did not move on to state. We are in Illinois. We had never been notified that he moved on from the local lodge.</p>

<p>Hey everyone! I’m from MI and I found out via snail mail that I was forwarded from local to districts on Dec 18th and then districts to state on Jan 25th. They said they will be notifying national finalists in late Feb and finalists at that point will have to fill out additional materials. Good Luck!</p>
<p>My S proceeds to State. We will get result on Feb. 14 if he proceed to national.

<p>On March 1, NATIONAL FINALISTS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL. SECONDARY APPLICATION MATERIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON LINE.
by March 22: NATIONAL FINALISTS SECONDARY APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE TO THE ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION
On April 15 NATIONAL JUDGING CONCLUDES
