<p>I got a letter from my lodge yesterday. I’m moving on to the district level, but they didn’t say anything about a local lodge scholarship.</p>

<p>Will we hear anything if applicants are completely turned down?</p>
<p>Nothing from GA. 2 years ago we called the lodge mid January to find out.
Every lodge & state has a different system for notification.</p>
<p>I was notified today by mail - I advanced to the district judging! Also no mention of local lodge scholarship - they probably announce those when they decide the national winners</p>

<p>My D and her male friend both received letters just yesterday from local Elks lodge (Deerfield, NJ) that tey moved to district. My D got no info on a local scholarship, I don’t know if the young man did. Excited to wait and see how things go at districts. Anyone from nj know how many move on from district to state?</p>

<p>Just figured out that I did not make it. This is from southern Texas. You guys can call and ask about the scholarship. They can tell you whether you made it or not if you tell them your name. Good luck to everyone else who made it!</p>

<p>I received and email today after calling and heard that my Lodge in CA has passed apps onto the next level but no info has been released as to who those individuals are =P Best of luck to everyone! :D</p>
<p>I am thinking that you have to be a Elk member to get the local lodge scholarship and we are not a member of Elk.</p>
