<p>So for volunteer work in part A, it says list all for the 2012 year only, then for part B, it states to not add any from the 2012 year, but from 2009-2011…but the volunteer work in 2012 is what I have been doing since 9th grade, most at least. So what do I do? What do I put in part B?</p>
<p>Also…what does the top ten list essay mean? Does someone want to reword that/ give me an example?</p>
<p>I am running across the same problem. I double checked all of the forms to see if there were more defined questions for each number in the “top ten.” If worst comes to worst, I simply plan on putting down the ten things I want to do in life. It may be talking about one’s top ten memories or achievements, but I would rather risk putting my top ten aspirations instead of memories. IDK. I may call Coke and see if they could clarify…</p>

<p>Hey everyone, this is what Mark Davis, the president of the Scholars Foundation, said when current Scholars asked about the question: “for the essay question we asked semi finalists to list their Top Ten (could be colors, books, teachers, movies, places, etc - really anything). Then we want them to elaborate on #4 on the list. This will allow them to share more about themselves for the readers and demonstrate their creativity.”</p>
<p>My D’s semifinalist app has been sent…and the waiting begins. I understand that notifications are sent by both email and regular mail in mid February. Please post if this is not the case</p>
