2021-2022 USC Transfer

I annotated that last year’s SGRs applicants found out as late as July 20th.

Hold tight and keep your head up!

I saw :(( but they really shouldn’t make me wait that long, they’ve had my spring grades since May 12th… I think I’ll be hearing back within a couple weeks at max

My situation is similar to yours. I got my Spring Grade Request in Apr, submitted it on May 15 with 12 credit hours, 4.00. I’ve definitely grown patient over the years.

Enjoy the start of your summer mate. Best not stress too much.

anyone new had their SGR disappear today? I know 2 people that had it disappear today

Exactly me, except submitted mine on 5/12, also with a 4.0:) My SGR and withdraw button are still there.

Did those 2 hear back

I won’t be waiting until July. I can hold on for a couple more weeks, then I’m moving on.

no they did not. they also submitted their SGRs on both the 28th and on Tuesday

How do transfer students get the classes they want for the semester they’re admitted to? I looked over the schedule of classes for Fall 2021, and most classes for my major are already full…

They often open up quite a few slots during orientation sessions. I had absolutely no problem registering for every class I wanted. I found that every semester I’d get the classes I wanted, but not always at the time I wanted. I had a couple of 8AMs and boy were those hard to wake up for.

Thanks! Haha yeah I’d imagine

Has anyone that was admitted May 28th receive financial aid yet

Congratulations to all who’ve gotten good news. Wishing the best for those that are waiting or going with other plans! For those transferring in as a sophomore- How many classes did you take each semester or quarter freshman year? TY!

I’m going to be a sophomore in the fall, I took 30 credits total for the entire school year. My first semester I was originally taking 17 credits but withdrew from one class, so I had 13 for semester 1 and then for semester 2 I completed 17 credits.

mine just looks like it does normally but like the sgr is not on the checklist anymore
