Congratulations on Annenberg! Thanks - that’s very helpful info
Hey y’all anyone know how long it takes for them to get back to an appeal?
And do you think it’s worth staying a 3rd year in CCC to reapply again? I got into CSUN for Accounting but my heart and mind tell me “USC, you got this, Fight On!” 🥲
Does anyone know if usc looks at debt on current home for financial aid
On CSS there are many expense questions related to these kind of stuff and I believe there was one specifically related to housing. But if not at the end of the application it asks if there are any other info not covered.
Don’t know how long it’ll take for you to get back your appeal decision but it’s hard to overturn the rejection. And no, staying another year at community college isn’t a good idea. Many students with 4.0 GPAs got rejected from Marshall. Did you not apply to the UC schools?
each quarter I took around 13-14 credits
Okay I just heard that usc doesn’t really look at your home price or debt anymore but idk if that’s true
I was missing two requirements for them. If I were to stay another year at CCC I would complete them and apply to them as well. I want to open up all my possibilities this time around. I’d be more excited to attend UCI, USC, UCB, UCLA, SDSU compared to CSUN and CSULB but idk. I’m stuck right now tbh.
I got in to USC as a spring admit. I’m happy I got in, but also kinda confused. I’m a little bummed I didn’t get into the Fall 2021 and I feel like USC wanted me, but not really. Lol rip. Also can anybody kindly share with me the USC transfer discord link?
I hope you get in! It must be super tiring and stressful still waiting on a decision, but you got this!
Thanks, I’m trying to determine the typical freshman full-time credit load.
15-16 credits.
Here you go! Role yourself when you join and we have a (not very active sadly) spring admit channel too
Thank you much appreciated!
Also… has any admitted transfer received their financial aid package yet? If so, how good does the aid look for you relative to your EFC?
Both our 2nd year Cal community college sons were just rejected for the 2nd & 3rd time each and is now waiting for their 2nd & 3rd respectively and final appeals. 4.0 this semester and in the fall for Poli sci & SCA You loose all your units over 64 so Its not worth another year at community college. All GE done & LOR from professors, Eagle Scouts
They were rejected today? I’m so sorry to hear that! They sound amazing!
Last friday
If your comfortable with losing a potential year of your life (and salary) then by all means go ahead. Accounting is one of the few careers where prestige doesn’t matter. I would just go to Northridge but it’s your choice.
