2024 Decision Thread/University of Delaware

Confused question about the acceptances so far. Did everyone apply early action? My OOS son applied regular decision but happened to submit the application at the same time as his EA schools, in the second week of November. He didn’t even know there were rolling admissions at Delaware. Is the Rolling part just for EA? The school website is pretty quiet about all this. He hasn’t heard anything, but now I can’t imagine if he’d waited until mid January, which is what the stated due date is! Thanks, and congratulations to all who have been accepted so far.

@l2kids I think a lot of people on here did apply early action, my daughter did. University of Delaware is no longer rolling admissions from what I’ve heard, but how acceptances are coming out it seems like it is. Good luck to your son on his decision, hopefully he’ll hear soon.

A lot of schools have an EA application date and usually give you a notification date with EA. However, many schools will start sending out decisions prior. It seems like it is rolling, but it really is not.

My son has heard back from 6 schools, including UDEL, only one of them advertised as “rolling”. Of those 6, all of them gave him a decision before their published EA notification date.

Some schools will only announce on their published date.

DD just got accepted !!!

Is anyone majoring in Ancient Greek and Roman studies by chance? Or interviewing for the World Scholars program? My daughter has her interview for that Monday, she’s interested in going to Athens, Greece.

Was accepted 11/13 engineering, still waiting for merit. Got all excited because I saw my portal was updated today, but unless it’s hidden somewhere, still nothing.

Congrats! What a great way to start the holiday!!!

Momtofourkids yes we are MA, applied mid October, accepted mid November. I honestly think it is more important what program you apply to than state. Looks like pace of acceptances is picking up - hope you hear good news soon.

My application was being updated daily (I do not really know what that means I just know I saw the date next to profile last updated change daily) and I saw that someone mentioned that it will turn from awaiting decision to awaiting confirmation, but that did not happen for me
If you have any questions lmk

On Thanksgiving? How strange!

Oh, nvm, I see that you wrote that just after midnight, so you meant Wed night!
