Still waiting! EA OOS NJ, 91 gpa 1320 SAT. Applied to the Business school. Congrats to all those accepted!! We are just waiting to see like many others, but also weighing our options at this point. Curious to know when deferrals will go out, since we haven’t heard of any, but if we get one I’ll post! Isn’t this fun?!

@BrielleNJ24 good luck. You should hear soon. DD is waiting on three others too. I know URI doesn’t release notifications until mid-January. Here’s to waiting.

Thanks @Candy-O. We have accepted the fact that we won’t know or decide any time soon. Good luck!

Still waiting as well! EA OOS (CT). Applied 10/7, biological sciences major. 3.87/4.00 GPA, 1280 SAT. Can’t stand waiting!!!

Accepted 11/27! OOS 3.7 GPA/UW, 30 ACT. Private school Long Island. Best of luck to all!

My daughter was just accepted on Wednesday 11/27 at 6:30pm. She is OOS, has a 1270 SAT and a 4.75 W GPA and UW GPA of 3.95. She was accepted into Computer Engineering. She played two sports and had a fair amount of extra-curricular activities. She also had a significant amount of community service.

She applied on 9/27. Good luck to all!

Been awaiting decision for almost a month :frowning: sent my application in 11 weeks ago. In-state 3.2 UW GPA/ mostly IB & AP classes/ 1250 SAT. I spent my summer at UD for the EDGE Program and fell in love with the campus. I have over 8000 hours in community service and won an award for doing so (I’ve fostered 57 dogs and currently volunteer at Animal care and control team of Philly). I got accepted into 3 schools so far with significant scholarships, but UD is my first choice. How long were people on Awaiting decision before being accepted?

@Emmajanice 8000 hours equates to 200 40-hour weeks, which is roughly 4 years. Hopefully you made a typo here (even 800 is a lot), and did not have that on your application since it’s hard to believe. How did you achieve such a feat?

for those accepted and waiting on merit -which they stated would be in 2 weeks
we are on 3 weeks post acceptance and admissions counselor responded to D that they are behind in the financial aid office and it could be “a few more weeks” before the portal is updated w merit info

I’ve seen the merit comments a lot. Do people think it will be different than the UDel published amounts in their NPC? I thought the amount was guaranteed entirely based on stats. Is this not right? Or do people just not believe it until they see it?

@bigmacbeth its not a typo
Ive been doing it since I was 11  All of the hours are logged by the owner of the rescue I work with.

@bigmacbeth I tend to believe the NPC, BUT while test scores are very straight forward most colleges have their own way of calculating GPA- weighted/Unweighted, core classes, etc
in the case of our school in NY we are graded on a scale of 100. My D has a 93.5 UW/95.5 W- I assume thats a 4.0, but cant say for 100% certain.

My application was completed 10/2 and I’m still waiting on a decision

Has anyone interviewed for the World Scholars program?

Still waiting!

Over 3 weeks

Officially been 4 weeks on “Awaiting Decision” :frowning:

For all of you waiting on merit, my daughter was accepted to UD last year the first Friday in December and we got the merit package on Christmas Eve. Hang in there everyone!

Still waiting for nursing decision w/ a 4.2w, 3.76uw, 1200 SAT. I have 262 SSL hours, JV softball 2 years, part-time job. Hoping to get in!
