I can’t stop checking the portal! I went to UD, and my twin sons applied on 10/27. When will they find out???

My application has been in the “Awaiting Decision” status for 3 weeks now…I’m really getting anxious because I applied as a nursing major with a pretty low SAT (1200) but my gpa is 4.2w. I also emailed my admissions rep about retaking my SAT on Dec 7th and he said “Thank you for letting us know. I will tell you that your application is already under review”
This was 3 weeks ago. Waiting has turned me into an anxious, crazy person! I thought the SAT and application was the hardest part…
If you keep checking their portal and they get accepted, you will be the one seeing the blue streamers, not them.
If you look at last years stats they got a record number of applications and last year they had their largest freshman class ever. I am sure this year will be no different. I am sure most of us won’t hear until January 2020. Good luck to everyone!
We were visiting the university yesterday and they said that they expected 10,000 applications for early decision but got 20,000. So they are trying to work as fast as they can but have fallen behind. So I guess the waiting will be a bit longer.

yes but RD not due for awhile. Did they get 10k apps for early decision or early action? or both?
UD doesn’t have an ED round. I’m guessing it must have been for EA.

Applications for the fall 2020 semester open on August 1. Students applying Early Action should complete an application by November 1 and will receive their admission decision by January 31. Students applying for regular admission should apply by our priority deadline of January 15 and will receive their admission.
No ED at UD.

Whoop Whoop! My son just got in! However I was just randomly checking his portal and saw! He did not get an email to check his portal.
My son just got accepted to the Business School for Finance!!! 91 GPA 1320 SAT!!! Yay!

We didn’t get any email either. Just happened to check.
I just looked tonight for my son to see if there were any updates to honors college admit. He was admitted to UD on 11/6 and when I went to the website I saw a new letter admitting him to honors. There was no email alert.
