Hi, Has anyone heard if Decision Days are still on? The University posted on Facebook on Friday with a Coronavirus update with no specific reference to impact on Decision Days.
Yes deferred in December, still waiting mid term grades were even better than 1st quarter-the waiting is crazy!
@Squezical as far as I’ve seen it is. We are going to the April 18th one and now I’m worried that that one will be canceled since it’s over a month away. I wanted to try and switch to the one in March but my husband usually doesn’t know if he’s working weekends until the Thursday before.
I sent an email to Admissions to get an update. I will post here if I hear back.
Hello my daughter originally applied to the Bachelors program in Newark. She was deferred in December. We just heard tonight that she was accepted into their Associates program and will transition to the Newark Campus her Junior year to complete her Bachelors. Very excited for her to become a Blue Hen! We are in state.
CONGRATS to your daughter. Just a word of caution: Make sure you check that ALL of her credits from the Associate’s program transfer to her intended major at UD or else you’re looking at a 6 year degree. ?If my S had accepted the SEED program and gotten the Associate’s degree first, not a single one of the credits would have transferred for his major. Not one. So check with the major she will be transferring to and what they have to offer at their Associate’s program’s campus. . Just something to check before you click that ‘Accept’ button.

@Delawaremom24 You’re welcome. He was going in for Instrumental Performance Major. I’m not even sure why they offered the AA when they don’t have any Music Programs at the other locations. I was super surprised to find out that none of the general education classes even would transfer to Newark for his Music Major program. Plus he wanted to live ON campus and with the AA, you can’t for the first two years. CONGRATS again to your daughter. Hope everything works out for her.

My DS Got in tonight into Lerner business school !!! OOS and originally deferred!!! He changed his major to up his chances to get in and he got into his 2nd choice which was actually his 1st choice !!! Hope that makes sense !!! So happy it’s been a very long stressful road with UD!

March admitted students day was just cancelled.

The school has been closed tomorrow and Friday spring break will start Saturday instead of end of month

Does this mean that the office of admissions will be closed and they won’t be sending out anymore decisions till they get back?
My daughters portal says “the undergraduate office of admissions will be working remotely temporarily”
Does anyone else’s blue hen portal say “Your financial portal is temporarily unavailable. Please check back for updates after Friday, March 20 at 5:00 p.m.”?

No crickets here. Application was “updated” almost daily last two weeks. Just waiting…
