What is NPS.
I didn’t see where the OP’s daughter wants to teach, but if she does many boarding schools have “teaching fellow” positions that are usually for 2 years, and have a lot of mentoring etc, as well as often pairing with a masters program. No need for an education degree.
NYU is better for medical school than undergraduate, since it now gives a full tuition scholarship to medical students. Of course, this now means that it is one of the most selective medical schools, because being $61k less expensive than other medical schools is a big draw for medical school applicants.
Do you mean the Net Price Calculator (NPC)?
NPC has nothing to do with a college’ s rank, but the NPC will have different costs based on whether you/ your daughter are considered instate vs out of state.
Re: AmeriCorps does not offer classroom teaching positions (TFA does). AmeriCorps does offer after school tutoring jobs as well as some medicine adjacent jobs (like health education or healthcare support positions at FQHCs (Federally Qualified Healthcare Clinics).
Maybe expand to BS/DO. I do concur that BS/MD is unlikely given GPA.
