A silly question. The AO will ONLY CALL the student who is off wait-list, not caring if the student can answer the phone call (if in class) or not? Also I just checked applicant’s portal from several colleges and there is no phone number in applicant’s profile or contact. Do they normally send an email notice as well? Thanks.
My son has gotten off of four waitlists this cycle. For every one he received an email. For one there was also a call and for another there was also a text.

BC was already on there from a week or so ago.
Yes, I can confirm Wesleyan. DS received a text on Sunday (5/4) and the portal was updated with his offer on Monday (5/5).

Accepted off the waitlist today at Syracuse (Newhouse).
No merit or need based financial aid.
They sent a text and an email notifying to check my portal.
