PLEASE use the list and add to it when you post an update with a new school.
Emerson College
While Iām also following this thread, my thought would be to update with a list periodically (if at all) because repeating lists every post makes it difficult to scroll through a thread.
So, with today being Friday, I wonder if we will see more schools going to the WL this afternoon. Also wondering if going to the WL early will turn out to be the trend this year. (Seems like, in the past, results from enrollment management algorithms tended to apply to multiple schools as many may use the same small group of consultants or otherwise have similar mathematical models.)
Maybe add a wiki post with a list of schools that everyone can update in-place instead of adding new posts for each additional school?
Hi, any word on Emory/ Oxford Waitlists? Are WL moving without LOCI?
Can you help (eg set it up)? Not sure how to do that, and previous threads on CC have done it the way we are doing it here.
I donāt see Emory mentioned in this thread. If anyone watching this thread hears of Emory, theyāll post.
As for LOCI, thatās a more difficult detail to come by. And not all schools accept them. Though, if you have a student on a waitlist that accepts LOCI, Iād do a LOCI asap if they havenāt done so already.
If someone can do a wiki list and post it, please do. Otherwise this seems to be the most efficient way to see the latest list, and avoid duplications and having to read every post. Already say Emerson duplicated in different posts.
Adding:
UCSB
Emerson
Kenyon
UVA
Tulane
Chicago
Marist
Occidental
SUNY Binghamton
University of Tampa
UT Austin
Virginia Tech
Ga Tech
Brown
BU
NYU
UCSD
UNC- Chapel Hill
CWRU
Rollins
I think the moderators need to set it up. The first post (with an updated list) could be made into a wiki.
OK happy to have them do that if they would like to. Until then, if itās OK, seems best to continue to do what we are doing with updating the list as we updates are reported, as this is how itās routinely been done on CC for past lists.
Adding UC Davis

Not sure if this counts, but UNC waitlisted someone and then within 1 week, they received an acceptance. It is old news at this point but FYI.
Anyone know if any of the Davis admits were in-state or civil engineering?
I love all the speculation! I have a theory that colleges might use housing data. My D25 is conflicted between two great schools so hasnāt committed. Both have VERY competitive housing scenarios, and both have already opened for housing applications/deposits. I think one can speculate odds of enrollment based on if āhousing openā media posts have moved their needle for undecided or uncommitted students.
The first post is now a wiki
I just copied this list and put it into the first post wiki.
Where is it and how do you access it? Someone please link it/post it here.
In the lower right of the first post there is a symbol of a square with a pencil. Anyone can click that and update the list in the post. PM me if you have trouble finding it.
Never saw that before and had no clue what that means/meant until explained. I suspect I am not the only one who had never seen/noticed that pencil thingy.
Not sure why we canāt keep updating the running list here, like has always been done with other updated lists
guess everyone will need to update the first post⦠if they see the pencil thingy
