Makes perfect sense to me!
Funny how disappointing 4-1 feels.

Pavia was invited by one NFL team to its pre-camp and was fairly quickly dismissed prior to the start of training camp due to “maturity issues”. His posse is another indication that his image is less than desirable for the highly image conscious NFL.
News articles report that Pavia enjoys calling attention to himself & his posse at strip clubs with his behavior which includes flashing money.

Can you post one ? I can’t find one as the reason he was cut. I can only find that they were needing to make an addition and needed a spot.
But he did maintain a presence in football in general even as he was playing in USFL and CFL. He was still making appearances and commercials. There were Flutie Flakes that benefited Autism Research. Even when he got cut from teams, the public loved him.
He is on the board of the Autism school at Florida Tech and is there all the time, being nice. Tim Wakefield, another Boston player who retired to Florida does things for the school (Tim actually attended and played for Florida Tech).
Just saying if Pavia was nicer, he may have more opportunities.

Very sad - we all love football but it’s such a dangerous game (yes, this is extremely rare) but in general.

Michigan won, but I now say “Go Blue” with a sigh. Where did our team go? And we’re paying some of these players???
That was interference on the last play of the game.

Agree…but it shouldn’t have come down to that.

Likely all except walk ons - and even then, they might have some small NIL money (like local sponsorships).
I know of someone at App State whose dad says, makes more than him. So has to be in six figures.
College is pro today - sad but true. Why else would some kidsd be at four and five different schools?
Wrote this back on 9/6. Michigan FINALLY made the switch in the 2nd half yesterday. And they won. The offense was looking dismal until the switch. Now Michigan has a $12 Million (reported) backup QB.
Now Michigan needs to make a switch at OC.

Brutal. Although if he stays on the bench, I am sure he will enter the portal after the season. Probably won’t get a $12M+ payday at the new team though!
Not sure big brother CJ is a Heisman candidate after yesterday!
But seems like the right (although belated) move for UM.
Too little too late. Not sure how replay doesn’t catch these. They really need unaffiliated refs.
