-help patients
-learn more about things you didn’t learn in med school
-seeing the appreciation of patients
-building long lasting friendship with your team
-(obviously the money but I wouldn’t count that as a pro)
-give expert advice on topics
-independent research
=surgery
-hands on experience
Cons:
-Stressful work (work long hours)
-Patients life is on your hand–> if you did something wrong, you can be sued or even lose your license!
-Less time with your family
-Seeing death
-Negative criticism from your colleagues
