Going to put this here from another post, and spread the love you all!
Remember also students who didn’t get in, or who are considering Tulane: there is the IDT (interdivisional transfer) from the Tulane School of Professional Advancement to NTC with fulfilling the 6 core requirements:
Foreign Language
Math
Science
English (English 1010 compulsory)
Social Science
Humanities
With a C (or C-) or better
At least two (2) semesters in SoPA (School of Professional Advancement)
At least 18 Tulane credits
Upon completion of such, you will require a deans letter of approval from SoPA, just like going from NTC to SoPA, and you will have completed IDT to becoming a full fledged Tulanian!
Google: Tulane interdivisional transfer, it’ll show up under the School of Professional Advancement.
Perfect way to circumvent the normal freshman undergraduate route if you have a year or three of a break from school, and last I saw, you need a 2.0 GPA to get in, send in your transcripts (if you have any), have a high school diploma or GED, and be in good standing where you were previously if you were someone else previously. Not necessarily the 1-3 years break from school. Also, you don’t need to break from school, all you have to do is go into the SoPA and work on the transfer process.
They only know what you tell them.
This is the link to the proof: General Policies | tulane
and its TOTALLY okay to circumvent the normal admission route, AND you don’t need to take a gap year or anything!
Good luck everyone, especially if you’re financially hurting, SoPA may be the PERFECT way to start!
Good luck!

Posting this here instead of one of the decision threads. Tulane recently released the '24-'25 CDS.

Application/Acceptance/Admit data. While the % admitted through ED did decrease it was predominantly due to an increase in the number of applications through that channel. They still selected approximately the same number of applicants through that mode. The idea that the “new admissions director is going to drive a change to more acceptance through EA/RD rounds” seems to be proving false. There is a very slight shift towards EA/RD but they are still filling better than 60% of their spots through ED. The pure number of EA/RD acceptances increased YoY but the % selecting Tulane after acceptance has declined

Total applicants dip significantly from '21 to '22 due to the school previously counting incomplete applicants in the data (don’t draw too much conclusion from that). '24 to '25 though they did see a 17% increase in applications.

EA/RD Acceptance rate remains at 11%. Although the school does not give data specific to these rounds the general sense is that RD is low single digits.

The gender split of Tulane often comes up as a discussion item with enrollment being almost 2:1 F:M. The table below would imply (to me) that the school doesn’t give any extra weighting to Males in an effort to shift this ratio.

Applicants (%) '24-'25 '23-'24 '22-'23 '21-'22 '20-'21 '19-'20 '18-'19
Male 38% 37% 35% 34% 37% 37% 38%

Male 37% 36% 34% 36% 41% 40% 38%
Female 63% 64% 66% 64% 59% 60% 62%

Test Submissions and Reported 50%. Prior to COVID Tulane was test required and since has remained test optional. The number of applicants choosing to send test scores has been on a steady decline. The reported 50% for SAT has steadily increased. ACT mid-50% has only shifted up a single point - which surprised me.
