No check the portal.
@nobeansss congrats!
Admitted: 2/2
Applied: 11/1 but they got my test scores after deadline so I was moved to regular decision
Residency: In-State
Major: Pre-med
Class Rank: 11/375
Weighted GPA: 4.25
SAT: 1130 (below average, I tried three times)
Miscellaneous: I took all AP classes available in my school

I volunteer a lot outside of school and I have done service trips etc. If anyone wants more information you can just PM me.
did anyone who was deferred in December hear back yet?
I was deferred 1/31 and saw someone here was deferred and then admitted recently (congrats!) So does that possibly mean deferred are being admitted along with RD instead of RD acceptances followed by deferred? Just a thought
is the website down for anyone else?
@randomstudent02745 yes its down for me too
OSU’s portal is down every Sunday am for maintenance.
@123xxyyzz no
To clear up confusion about one of my previous posts… I believe the portal will still be uploaded for RD applicants but students who were deferred during EA will receive decisions via email and then snail mail. For deferred applicants, the portal says “you will receive further information by mail.” I was also told by two admissions reps that the portal won’t be updated for deferred students, but I didn’t think to ask what the notification system would be like for the RD applicants. Sorry for the confusion, everyone!!
the portal is working again
what is snail mail
oh it’s just postal system mail
@nobeansss once you were admitted after your deferral did your status update on your portal, or did you receive your final decisions through an email?
Was accepted yesterday after being deferred 1/31!!! So unbelievably excited considering I wasn’t expecting to hear anything back until March!!
Very nice that some deferred kids are getting answers.
Hopefully my son will hear something soon, too.
Wait so did you recieve an acceptance email then? @19Graduate
Congratuations! Would you mind sharing your stats? My daughter was also deferred 1/31, but hasn’t heard anything since then.
