I had a 24 on the ACT, 4.45 GPA, Valedictorian of my graduating class, in state (small school in southern Ohio), and I’m a Health Professions Exploration major. I have several extracurriculars like varsity soccer, club soccer, National Honor society, 4-H, Big brother big sisters, Drug Free Clubs andany others. At my school we don’t offer AP classes or anything like that so I didn’t have the opportunity to take any but it seems it didn’t effect my application!
When does award letter come?
I was accepted yesterday, but does anyone know when financial aid comes out?
Has anyone else gotten the Provost? If so, can you post stats?
@JLKee My son got Provost - In state, Top 2% his class (6th/286), ACT 31, 4.505 Weighted GPA, 3.92 unweighted. 6 AP Classes, 7 college classes through CCP. Received a letter in the mail on 2/14. Got accepted 12/15. Good luck!

Achievements of those considered: Top 3% and 33 or higher ACT (1450 SAT)
Provost $2,000 ($8,000)
Achievements of those considered: Top 10% and 31 or higher ACT (1390 SAT)
Trustee $1,000 ($4,000)
Achievements of those considered: Top 20% and 30 or higher ACT (1360 SAT)
You need both. I think that once you add a class rank criteria to any merit money it can be unfair for some. No longer apples to apples.

My daughter was awarded National Buckeye & Trustee today. So proud of her! It’s been a long wait- she was accepted back in November. Hopefully many others are hearing today!

Congratulations @Yoda13 !! How did she hear? (USPS, email, portal?) I’d love for my D to get some merit. I keep asking her to check, but not really counting on it.
did anybody who got deferred in December hear back yet? or are only the January deferrals hearing back?

Anyone know when financial aid info will come out? My daughter received her acceptance (RD) the other day…we’re out of state, so curious as to when we’ll have the financial details.
