I’m still trying to be hopeful. Even though they’ve admitted a lot of students, it’s not like they have many more applications to go through anyways. Stay positive guys!

@ca1171 not to mention it seems much less students have paid their acceptance fee thus far. So many people are admitted but about 98% of applicants have other colleges they apply to
@ca1171 yes, I’m hoping that they may admit more students this next wave to help compensate for the lower rate of acceptance fees

Also to note on the enrollment report, they use the statistics based on that date. For example in the current report, it shows that between last year and this year there is a 2,000 difference between those two dates. Last years number isn’t the total number at the end of admissions, it’s the difference to that date. So there is still plenty of room left really for admittance plus they typically trend to increasing admissions rate year by year. Also, it was reported that applications are up, so to keep their trend, they are going to accept more students then usual to keep the same percentages
I feel bad for all of you still waiting that have better stats than me…
This process has been so difficult ? it’s especially frustrating seeing that some of us deferred students have higher stats than some of the people who were admitted months ago
I was accepted today, March 20th. Checked the portal and it was updated to Admittance! Strange to see the change today as it seemed like most people got their decisions at the very end of the Month last year. I applied on 1/2/19 and was deferred mid February. Stats were 32 ACT and 3.55 gpa. Gpa was very very low freshman year and held about a 4.0 from Sophomore-Senior year. Hope all goes well for the rest of you!

Congrats to all of the deferred being admitted!! I’m really hoping to hear tomorrow, I think I’m a little more hopeful. I looked at the OSU weekly report stats and only 22 have paid the acceptance fee for my major, maybe I’ll hear back tomorrow or at the very least next weekend !
DS got an email last night at 11:11 with an acceptance after applying EA (COE) and deferred 1/31. OOS, ACT: 33, 3.6 GPA, EC’s (lacrosse, NHS, community service, job, exchange student to Japan, AFROTC scholarship recipient)
Funny I looked at his app portal yesterday and still showed deferred- now can’t log in, it’s asking for Buckeye Pass Duo login setup…
