@scienceroxs my guess is that they will roll out randomly between May 1- June 1 on no specific day but I’m not 100% sure

i called the admissions office mid april and they said after may 1st, they will start reviewing the waitlist applications again & sending out decisions

Does anyone think they will release some waitlist decisions within the next week? Really anxious to hear back because I have a roommate at the school I put a deposit down at but I obviously would prefer to let them know sooner rather than later that I’m not gonna go anymore ( only if I get off the OSU waitlist of course)
Appears as though 3 kids have gotten off waitlist so far. Just checked the admissions/enrollment report and OSU had accepted 25,465 as of April 29th but it just went up to 25,468 for today May 6th.
I’m not feeling so good about the waitlist now, oof.
@stebs28 enrollment is down from last year though so maybe that’s good?

They update this page every Monday and compare it to enrollment/admissions for last year. Only reason I know 3 people were admitted off waitlist was because I remembered to write down in my notes how many people were admitted before May 1. Hopefully we will start hearing from people on here about getting in off the waitlist! If anyone talks to admissions and hears anything please share what info they give you because I had emailed the admissions rep for NJ/NY a question but haven’t heard from her. She usually answers but maybe she is busy looking at waitlist applications.
@oj2018 that’s a good point! I noticed admitted was up and enrollment was down from last year
@oj2018 could the three people that accepted their admission just be from the regular decision deadline? Because It was from the 28th and May 1st was the last day. I don’t think anyone has heard back from waitlist. But I am not completely sure
@scienceroxs the number of admitted students increased by 3 not the number that paid their acceptance fee

I just got rejected from main campus !!
What does your main campus application status say if you got rejected?
@ganalemon It will say either declined or inactive and you will have another application on your portal and it will say admitted to the branch campus you chose
I’m so nervous now my status says I’m still on the waitlist. Has anyone on here been admitted off the waitlist yet? I’m out of state so I don’t know if that affects when I’ll hear back or not…
