Does anyone know how many EA Applicants OSU had this year? Curious vs last year.
Their 11/18 Weekly Report shows 38,182 applicants by 11/17 this year vs. 37,654 by 11/18 in 2018. That’s total new first year applicants (not transfers), Columbus Campus. They don’t break down EA vs. RD, but I assume at this point all those applications were EA.

@AStudent223 I know it is hard to wait, but tOSU will be accepting like 30,000 students. They must do it in waves, for lots of reasons. Last year I saw twins, identical in almost every way, hear 3 months apart. So try to distract yourself. Don’t let this drive you nuts. You have much to celebrate right now. Don’t let something outside of your control ruin that.
For those of you still waiting like me Ik someone last year who was accepted with an 18 ACT, so there’s always hope!

Thanks! I was getting nervous seeing everyone else’s stats compared to mine. I think I had very strong essays and recommendation letters, so I think that just goes to show that they definitely do a holistic review.
Can you tell me where you found the stats that show how many people applied this year vs last year? I don’t see that on the admissions comparison report.

Look at the “Weekly Report” (2/3rds of the way down the page). Then, in that report, scroll down until you find Columbus Campus, Autumn 2019 vs. Autumn 2020. Page 11of 15.
Are admissions released on any other day or just Fridays?
This week’s admissions report is out, and it shows that there were 2,062 additional admits last week! Last year, it looks like there were only 6.

I would have said the 6 additional last year were exceptions or one-offs to the general monthly schedule. But 2,062 are not exceptions. We’ll have to see if it continues, but they may be doing weekly decisions this year.
