Accepted 11/22 but I checked the portal that night around 10 pm and it said the evaluation status
This morning I couldn’t sign into my portal- it stated I needed an additional level of security. I have a sibling that applied as well and he was able to sign in. I checked my emails and I noticed the 11/22 email regarding my acceptance- hmm I decided to complete the dual security level and finally saw the accepted in my portal- time to celebrate

I have three children. My two oldest were both accepted to OSU main campus as incoming freshman. One found out the week before Thanksgiving one was in the last group to find out. Both applied for early decision. It is done by random selection, ( at least that is what my oldest current academic advisor told us) My last one has applied and I am dying to know. My son that applied for engineering did not find out until the last round. His friends that applied for engineering also found out last round. (cek1975)
Historically, have any decisions come out Thanksgiving week? Also are decisions usually only released on Fridays? Im trying to limit the obsessive “checking the portal” syndrome

so far 39 admitted for fall 2020. Most programs cap aviation between 50-100 students. Any idea if notices will go out Thanksgiving week. Have all my acceptances just waiting on OSU and Purdue.
Every year a round of decisions come out the night of the Osu vs Michigan game, which would be this Saturday so there is a good chance more will come out that night.

I’m not too sure, but I did hear that they sometimes send out some decisions on the OSU v. Michigan rival game day which would be tomorrow. Not sure if that info is correct or not though.
It would be really cool if they send admissions decisions to Michigan residents tomorrow haha

At D19’s OSU orientation last summer, they talked about this year’s class being the best and the brightest, highest stats class they’ve ever enrolled. Then they called out 4 students and had them stand. These were the smartest of the smart (among the 200 or so orientees). Why? Because they were from Xichigan and chose Ohio State. ??
