@Osulover29 Hi. There is some debate between the third Friday of November being the day of the first round release, vs. Friday before Thanksgiving. I guess we will know a bit more tomorrow.
Your stats are well-above the average, and OSU is pretty much by the numbers. I can’t speak specifically for Fisher, especially for direct entry. My oldest (now 28 years old) was not a direct entry into the b-school but entered at the beginning of his sophomore year. He LOVED it and I was really impressed with his education there. Pleasantly surprised. He is now a second-year at an Ivy League b-school so I guess Fisher impresses others, too.
I suspect you will hear good news very soon. Go Bucks!
Hoping it’s the 3rd Friday of November, so tomorrow. My son applied back in Sept. as a Neuroscience major. 35 ACT, 4.46 GPA, ranked 6th out of 517 in his class. A couple extra curriculars but not much. He has gotten into the other schools he applied to already but does not want to go to them. OSU is the only school he wants to go to. I’m hoping he hears tomorrow so he can stop stressing out about it!
It seems like a lot of universities like to post decisions right before close of business on Friday (I assume to avoid all of the immediate phone calls), is that the case for Ohio State?
Oddly enough, I just called and a man named Cameron answered and said admission won’t be until early December. I am thinking this is false but not sure about tonight?
Coincidentally (???) my S20 got the fanciest piece of direct mail from tOSU today. I think this is the first piece (from tOSU), actually. If he hears positively tonight and he got that piece in the mail on the same day, i would be quite impressed!
