We are still waiting but my son’s friend received a rejection yesterday even though he applied RD. Has anyone else heard of RD students receiving decisions?
Accepted last night! They mentioned that the enrollment fee has a due date? Does anyone else know when this would be?
Enrollment fees to any school is by May 1.
Congratulations to all those accepted!
For those still waiting…I know I’ve said that the January decisions came out last year on Jan 18th and 31st. But someone pointed out that last year’s thread shows some decisions on Jan 25th, and that is true. So, I think there’s a good chance there will be another round next Friday, Jan 24th. Good luck!
Are any of the decisions coming out in January on EA applicants who were deferred? Or are these only decisions on new applications that were not previously deferred? Thanks.
Son still waiting as of 11 PM 01/17/20.

My Daughter heard that one of her classmates just got word today of her admission so they must still be sending notifications! I had her double check that it came today and she confirmed!
My homeschool student got her acceptance last night for International Relations.
3.88gpa
4.19 weighted from DE, no APs
30 ACT
Instate
She is very active in Civil Air Patrol and CyberPatriot and has studied Japanese for five years.
I think she had kind of hoped for a rejection because it would make the decision making easier. She thinks OSU has the better degree program for her but she’s in love with the environment of a women’s college.
wait ru saying decisions are coming out today??
@BBALL2002 I’m not certain if they are coming out today but saying my daughter’s classmate heard this morning…whether that was a random decision or not I cannot say for certain.
I’m curious if that was by checking their portal, or receiving an email?
I do not think they are releasing ACceptances today but for those that got accepted yesterday are getting emails this morning confirming it
portal updates were most likely yesterday and i got one email yesterday and one around 2am. two emails, one saying accepted one saying congrats, so more or less same. but i didn’t realize til i saw the email ! hope that helps

My son finally accepted yesterday 6:30pm,I just want to say don’t panic someone didn’t get results yet, I know waiting is really hard, but my friend’s kid accepted on last wave(1/31) and she even got morrill and honor later last year, so just think positively, I know it is not easy though, good luck everyone, btw everyone got emails from osu? I never got emails.
My son is still waiting to hear from OSU. He was certain he would hear yesterday as he has an email from OSU that stated he would hear by mid-January. Maybe next week is still considered mid-January?
@ajnbuckeye My son hasn’t heard either but has been accepted at Miami with direct admit to Farmer and good scholarship. He still wants to hear from OSU before deciding, but asked to schedule a Make it Miami visit. I think he’s coming to terms with the possibility that he’s not getting in to OSU and I want him to get excited about his other option.
I have a freshman son in Farmer at Miami. It’s a great school with small class sizes taught exclusively by professors. In his first semester in Farmer, he worked with the same small group of classmates in 4 different business classes on a real life case study and group project. He created a linkedin profile, resume, attended a career fair and learned how to code in Java and SQL. Next year he’s going to take his Farmer classes in a castle at the Miami campus in Luxembourg.
If your son loves the size of Columbus/OSU and Big Ten sports then he probably won’t enjoy Oxford as much. It’s just a different college experience. Make it Miami will get your son excited about Miami. They do a good job. My younger son wants to be a Buckeye so I’m holding my breath until he’s admitted.
Have there been people rejected from honors that got accepted in December? Should I be worried if I haven’t heard back and I got accepted in December?
