As the enrollment deadline is extended to June 1st, how about the housing application withdrawal deadline of May 1st ?

Wendy Andreen posted on her page that they had extended the housing deadline for cancellation of contract also. Don’t know how that works with picking rooms next month. I guess you pick and then have until June 1st to cancel?

I am really sad and happy - definitely mixed emotions - that my son will be attending Texas Tech in the fall. He went round and round and finally came to some clarity and is SO EXCITED… FINALLY A DECISION! I am asking the mods for some help… I think I found out how to cancel his housing and I went in and declined admission in Howdy which I think canceled NSC. I had signed up for a Sports Pass but can’t find where to cancel that…my assumption is that if I am not billed for the rest I won’t be billed for that!?! Do I need to formally cancel Blinn?? We were already registered for classes there and I manually went in and dropped those, do I need to do anything else?
So out 75 housing and 275 NSC, but honestly if he had chosen A&M it would have been all ready for him, so the loss is worth it as long as he found his home for the next 4 years! Just want to make sure I don’t lose any more…

Curious if anyone knows how to cancel a roommate selection. Can it be done online or does ResLife have to it?

You can set up the two factor authentication (Duo Mobile) to come from your phone too. You can set up multiple devices that can do the authentication so there’s no need for your student to leave you their phone or for them to have to do the authentication while they are in class or away.

Looks like housing assignment times are coming out. Why on earth would they schedule something at 11pm on a Monday night?

My son got 5/10 at 11:00. He was accepted in mid-October.
Seeing on Facebook that 5/6 at 11:00 is the first slot.

Within an hour typically but rooms may reopen throughout the whole process.
