I was simply commenting on the fact that, unfortunately, many standardized tests are important. I got a 33 on the ACT not because I’m in the 99th percentile of intelligence, but because I’m in the 99th percentile of ACT test takers. We all know those tests test your ability to take the test, and not your intelligence or other factors.

Everyone thinks I’m dumb now. Thy question & say
“Why are you top 10?”
“Do you doubt yourself when it comes to test?”
" Did you have a bad day?"
& what’s worst is that we had an English test today & everyone asked me what I got for blah blah question & they’re like “what? That’s so wrong… I don’t know what u’re talking about” & that kinda made me cry cause I’ve had someone looked down on me like that before :’(

^ but the thing is education & intelligence are the only things that are important in my life. They are practically all I have to live for. I know that might sound dramatic & ridiculous to you guys but it’s true. I live my life that revolves around intellegence. Sad… I know.

& this KILLS me! but I was talking to friend… & realized something. She told me that right after the test…I complained about how I accidentally changed my answers on my English section, thinking it was my math section but I only did that on 5 questions. couldnt have effected me tht much…

I mean this is CC… try working hard instead of relying on innate intelligence.

^^+1 there will always be someone out there smarter than you. So instead of being dramatic on the internet, why not pick up an interest or hobby you can work hard at and excel at? Intelligence does not get a person that far in life.

Btw… I had a nightmare during spring break that I got a 380 on my Cahsee & woke up panicking and worrying my score… & the Monday after…got my score, which was 398. Weird how these things happen, don’t you agree???

■■■■■ or not, it’s not cool to thrown around the word suicide. Especially over something as insignificant as this. I hope you grow up alot before it’s actually time to apply to college.

If you are freaking out over one test, how are you going to respond to college rejections and other road bumps? Grow up and learn to accept setbacks. Please.
