Amazing Race 24 All Stars

Judging from the previews are the three finalists sky diving down to the finish line next week?

Sad to see the Afganimals go. They were very fun this season. Thought the country girls did great. Rachel stop crying!!!

Oh man only one day behind!

Disappointed with the outcome but being directionally challenged isn’t a good trait on the race.

I thought the soccer task was pretty silly. There’s no way those goalies would have missed some of those attempts and it sure looked like the girls and Connor & Dave were given an easy time of it.

One thing that I don’t understand is why the division of roadblock tasks rule has been ignored this season. Usually, by the final leg, the division has to be 6-5. The Afghanimals, the girls, and Brendon & Rachel were all at 6-5, yet Connor and Dave are 7-4. Did anyone notice any mention of this?

According to Wikipedia:

The preview sure made it look like they’d be sky-diving to the finish next week, but we all know how editing can fake us out.

I thought Jamal’s knee would be their downfall, not poor directional skills. I just hope the Brenchels don’t win.

skieurope, I think that was for Season 10 because that season had 13 roadblocks. I’ve been watching since Season 3 and I don’t recall there ever being a season where the roadblock differential at the end was more than one.

Finally got the chance to watch. Crazy that the country girls are in the final! Really can’t say they deserve it beyond this one leg!! Sorry to see the Afganimals lose out. SOOOO over Brenchel - stop with the baby business!!

Personally thrilled for Connor and Dave. The goal contest was a joke for all of them. While Brenchel had what appeared to be better kicks, those goalies didn’t even attempt to move on a couple of their scores! But cool to be in the stadium. Hope they get to keep the soccer jerseys with their names on them!!!

NOOOOOOOOOO…Brenchels CANNOT win - If I have to see or hear her one more minute…I got no one to root for now. I suppose I could be “ok” with Dave & Connor, but not really enthused. :(

I can understand not loving Dave - he does play the “old” card too much it seems. However, can you deny props to Connor ? That guy has done in amazing job and has kept an amazing attitude IMO.

abasket, I agree. Connor is a great kid and has done an amazing job on the race, always keeping a good attitude. I find Dave very annoying but l like Connor a lot.

I don’t like hearing Dave bad mouth Rachel, even though I bad mouth Rachel.

I’m happy for Dave and Connor and glad to see it was the old man who stepped up and handled the last challenge. As someone who has a loved one completing chemotherapy, I have a lot of respect for Connor. Nice idea to finish in Las Vegas. I bet the other teams enjoyed the sights while they waited for the race to finish.

Wow, what AMAZING tasks!!!

Excited about the win for Dave and Connor - Connor. Is amazing!! Also glad that Dave did the final task. That mist ave been a real nail biter for those on the ground!

All three tasks would have been all my fears - being in a closed space, heights and heights and falling!!!

Brendan and Rachel …Can’t have a baby unless you pocket a million? Most people don’t need a million to have a child! And most don’t spend their other 2 million so that they need one more to start a family!hope that’s the last we see of them for awhile.

Rachel’s whining was like constant fingernails on a blackboard the entire episode!! Painful.

Yea for Dave and Connor!! I had forgotten they were both cancer survivors. The girls stepped up and ran a good leg. Both Rachel and Brandon were really annoying this episode. I agree who needs a million dollars to have a baby??

The green team reminded me of “The Whiners” from SNL.
We want a ba-byyy!
We want to be par-rentsss!

I don’t think they needed a million just to have a baby but it would have allowed them to be able to afford one sooner. They said at the end that they’d now have to wait until Brendan finished school. Obviously, no one needs a million dollars to have a baby!

The spoilers were exactly right, as usual. I’m happy for Connor. He carried that team throughout the race. And Dave should really stop whining about being old at 58! There have been people on TAR who were in their late sixties.

For all Dave’s whining about his age, I assumed he was in his 60’s. Instead he’s my age.

Dave and Connor were a strong team the first time they ran the race, and may very well have been one of the finalists then had Dave not torn his achilles. Of the 3 teams in the finals this time, I’m glad they were the team that won.

Karma Brenchels, karma bit you. The whining, the lying, and attempts to get the other team’s cab didn’t work for you.

Of the three teams in the finals, I’m glad Dave and Connor won. I think they ran the best race overall with several first place wins. I didn’t think the girls deserved it as they were helped out by other teams so many times in the race (I suppose that is a “strategy” though).
