I always thought they had to alternate roadblocks in the past, did I imagine that? Either way, I am not sure Jessica won anything, if Cody is her actual prize. Something’s not right in paradise.
I believe they announced their engagement this week.
@Sybilla They didn’t necessarily have to alternate roadblocks but the number had to be evenly distributed. They abandoned that rule this season. The only reason that she did the final puzzle challenge is that she was required to do so. Because Cody had done the first roadblock at the bridge, Jessica had no choice.
That rule is important IMO. It’s what makes the race/couples fair. I have to wonder if they abandoned it to get a couple like Cody/Jessica to agree to do the show.
Well, now I am irritated. Shame on TAR for dumbing it down to bimbo level. Still, Survivor should be on soon LOL?

Humbug! Just caught up. Cody and Jessica were my least favorite this entire season. I was on the edge of my seat when Henry had the puzzle. I knew he would change it tho. :((

Ok. On to other tasks!
Watching the finale tonight. So disappointed to hear that Cody and Jessica won. I loved team Yale or the girls. Actively disliked Cody and Jessica. I found him really creepy and do not think she contributed much at all. Blah.
I didn’t really notice until the last episode that Cody did most of the detours. Disappointed to hear that the rule about the detours being divided evenly between the teammates was discarded this season. I believe this rule change gave Team Big Brother an advantage. Remember how Jessica functioned without Cody during the partner swap? Their win should have an asterisk.
I finally finished. Not the ending I hoped for. Jessica did close to nothing all season and didn’t deserve it. Team Extreme was my favorite. And yes Evan was annoying but at least they were a good strong team.
Totally disappointed in the rule change that let Jessica do virtually nothing and rely so heavily on Cody. And she was so quick to whine when someone didn’t help her, but she actively worked against others.
I really don’t care for these career reality show couples/teams.
