Fire and Rain probably was my favorite. I love Gabby, though I think that she was trying to do too much at the beginning. She doesn’t need gimmicks.

We always watch the next day on the dvr, so we watched Sunday’s show tonight. We picked our top six to stay and they all made it. Yay!

Who keeps voting for Josh? The fact that he’s still there is ridiculous.
ETA: So glad my top three are still there. If Josh had gotten in over one of them, I would be rioting at dawn.

Is it just me? Breana has a lovely, technical voice, but I don’t care for her.
ETA: My 70yo brother texts me every week to discuss the show, which they record. But they can’t figure out how to record the show past 9 p.m. so it cuts off every week, and I have to tell him how it turns out. Cracks me up.
Judges’ saves are so pointless - it just delays it a week or so.

I’m a little bummed Gabby is gone. Super talented, but all her songs began to sound the same. So four guys and one woman standing. Breanna is my least favorite of who is left.
I agree. I just don’t think those big belting songs are what sells. Simon would have called her, “old-fashioned.”
She is incredibly talented, no doubt!
I’ll say it. I don’t care for country music / country singers.
But America does, which is why we have John and Slater. They are in one lane.
Jamal and Thunderstorm are in the same lane.
And then there’s Breanna. 
I really have no idea who will win. Young girls will vote for John and Slater, I think.

Of the remaining singers, I only have voted for John and Jamal.
