<p>I’ve been switching back and forth between AI and the Flyers/Canadiens game and, oh my goodness, during my last switch to AI, the Canadiens scored two goals to tie it up! Tonight is full of surprises, it seems.</p>

<p>That is a relief. It was sad seeing the clips - she was so happy and bubbly at the beginning and she just lost that during the show.</p>
<p>I have to admit that I’m a little sad that Brooke is gone. I would have preferred if it was Syesha. Tonight was her sixth time in the bottom 3/2 and she’s still there!</p>
<p>I agree alwaysamom, even though I do believe Syesha has a strong voice for certain types of songs, I really like Brooke and her style. She did, however, have some performance and confidence issues in the last several weeks. Bottom line is it will be the 2 Davids and David C will win. I just hate the fact that Jason is still there… 
He seems so smug and out of it all the time. Everyone seemed to be trying to console Brooke and he stood off to the side with his goofy grin… sorry to vent here. Now that the college stuff is over I need something to be emotional about.</p>
<p>We are convinced Jason is Vinnie Barbarino’s love child.</p>
<p>I was getting tired of Brooke and her pure-as-the-driven snow thing, but was actually sort of sad to see her go. Neither she nor Syesha deserved to be in the bottom two.</p>
<p>Pointless observation: I don’t know why, but every time I hear a Rick Astley (remember him?) song on the radio, I think he would have made a terrific AI contestant – it’s the ‘little young guy with the big voice’ thing. David A. is much better than the Chicken Little kid from last year, but whenever he needs to speak or respond to comments he seems vulnerable and bewildered. A bit odd.</p>

The kids and I were debating if Jason would have made it this far if he’d had a regular hair cut. He’s not bad, but our vote was no.</p>

<p>When Jason smiles, I immediately think of a young John Travolta. Does anyone else see that? He has a great smile. He should have been gone this week. As much as I really hate those phone in questions, I did think it was sweet that Simon’s first crush called in. He seemed genuinely surprised.</p>
