<p>My H, S, & I are watching it with the same feelings you have, swimcatsmom! We cringe when the Idol singers cut into the “real” singers’ songs. Carly was excellent, though - a bright spot in the night! And I did like David C’s ZZ Top song.</p>

<p>I wasn’t even watching - playing a game on my laptop and waiting for it to be over. Did look up when Carly sang - she stood out.</p>

<p>Kristy Lee Cook still makes my skin crawl. Nice to see Chikezie again. I would think the tour might be good because there are lots of different kinds of voices. Not that I’d ever buy a ticket to it.</p>

<p>Hard to tell how happy he is, but I teared up when his brother said, “That’s my brother.” So sweet. What health issue does the brother have anyway?</p>
<p>Brain cancer I think. But I think the one with cancer is a different brother from the one who auditioned with him. Not the one on stage with him tonight.</p>

<p>I liked Donna Summer, still has that great voice, and Bryan Adams. That’s about it. Not George Michael (he looked weird). </p>
<p>Although I liked David A the best (would have blown away that silly victory song) I’m happy for David C. Gotta like him. David A is most likely too awkward to be AI anyway. </p>
<p>After the Davids, Chikezie and Carly seemed to stand out. The rest were blah. And how on earth did Jason make it so far…he’s terrible. I wish I’d DVRed it so I could speed through the slow parts (most of the show).</p>
<p>I think you forgot michael he really has great chemistry with Carly. Also, Amanda was like a fish out of the water</p>
<p>I didn’t see the show but from the posts, it looks like I would agree with the decision. I think David C has a shot at a career. Maybe David A will surprise me. Clay Aiken certainly did so maybe every pot has it’s bizarre cult following lid.</p>
<p>Agree about George Michael. he was almost as painful to watch as some of the finalists. Maybe that’s why Paula was crying during his performance ;)</p>
