<p>Scotty’s not bad! And do most West Coasters not know the results yet!? I feel like everyone on CC is from CA.</p>
<p>My feeling is if you click on a thread about a show the night it’s on and you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to know the results, then that’s on you if it’s ruined for you.</p>

<p>Hey, I started the “Parenthood” thread and if I’d missed the show I sure wouldn’t click on the thread late Tuesday or early Wednesday before I’d seen the episode if I didn’t want to know what happened.</p>

IF it’s me, I was only trying to make the point that my comments on the outcome were from the standpoint that I hadn’t officially seen the results show yet, not that I was complaining that a poster had spilled the beans on tonight’s results.</p>

<p>Well, I thought Pia did better with her upbeat number and tried to get some swagger into her performance. I would have enjoyed seeing her progress in the body movement department, but won’t have the chance.</p>
<p>I thought America put Jacob in the bottom 3 for his remark that if he were to be in the bottom 3, it wouldn’t be because of his singing. </p>

<p>Iggy Pop…man, guys his age should NOT perform shirtless. He should have worn a long sleeve shirt with it opened almost all the way to his navel, perhaps. We should not have to be reminded of our mortality like that!</p>
<p>I guess I just need to think of American Idol as I do DWTS…I figure out the final 3 and then don’t get too worked up about what order the other contestants leave.</p>
<p>So CC America–who will be the final 3 standing? I had guessed Scotty, James and Pia…so I’m already wrong.</p>
<p>I have totally lost respect for the judges…I doubt they would have had the same reaction if it had been Stefano or Jacob going home tonight. I thought they were supposed to at least pretend to be impartial? I, too, feel bad for Stefano with the judges/audience’s reaction. </p>
<p>I think James will make it to the top three as will Casey and the third is a toss up between Scotty, and Paul.</p>

<p>I think the judges would have been upset if Jacob went home. They would have been sad if Stefano had been the one to go home…but not “we wuz robbed” upset.</p>
<p>I suspect that if the judges had their say, they would put Lauren in the hot spot.</p>

<p>I am only a little surprised Pia went home. She can definitely sing but she is so boring and safe…I think the final 3 will be Scotty, Casey and hmmm, James/Lauren/Haley…not sure. It depends on what happens next week.</p>
<p>I also think that Pia will have a record deal by next week. She will end up with a record of beautiful ballads and probably end up in Vegas. The market for her music is not a young market. The only other contestent that I believe will have a sure record deal is Scotty…his voice is very distinctive and the country market is huge. I think he will have a long and very successful career.</p>
<p>Oh and Gwen Stefani should not dress anyone IMO…</p>
<p>Pia is gone because she is a personality deprived, singing pageant-bot. I guess she can sing well, because everyone says so, but I fast forward through all her performances because if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all, and they have become boring. Of course, that can be said about most of them this year, and last year. </p>
<p>The judges need to take some judging lessons.</p>
<p>If the judges truly think that some contestants are better than others than they need to differentiate them in their comments. All 3 of them only had positive comments about everyone on performance night. Pia was boring & old-fashioned, altho she had a good voice. This just seems like a guy’s year on AI.</p>

<p>Absolutely. There is little constructive criticism going on at all. I don’t care what the judges said, not everyone was good. If Randy tries to give any sort of negative feedback, the other 2 judges get on his case. I’m starting to miss Simon. If the judges are upset, they have only themselves to blame. Much of the audience takes their cue from their comments.</p>
