^Here’s another “feel good” audition for this 2012 season of Britain’s Got Talent.

Thanks, nysmile … I loved all of them. You’re our new CC talent scout. :)

Half way through AI show.

Colten is a star in the making.

I want to take a buzzer to DeAndre’s hair. His voice annoys me.

HeeJunn–he finally took the show seriously tonight. Nice tone.

Elise did a great job tonight as a rocker. That’s got to be one of the toughest songs to pull off and she did it.

Philip was good, but I would get bored listening to his voice after two or three songs in a row.

All the girls are rather boring to me.

I still feel Colten is the one with the whole package and ability to make it in the business.

Colton seems to me to have it all as well.

I was happy to see Heejun show himself to good advantage.

DeAndre’s voice - chalk on blackboard to me. On top of that, Jennifer shouting out “people pick up the phones and vote for DeAndre!” Really, Jennifer?

Phillip wore an outfit! Not just a t-shirt. Radical :).

I like the tone of Colton’s voice the best when he is in “ballad mode” and he isn’t trying to sing with power. I really liked his voice during his trio performance.

For the first time this season, I really liked Heejun. Hope it wasn’t too late for him to turn it around.

I prefer Hollie and Elise over Skylar. All Skylar’s energy gets tiresome rather quickly. I’d be happy if Skylar went home on Thursday.

DeAndre “too much falsetto” Brackensick— hope he’s going home soon, but the overly lavish praise from the judges may keep him around.

Didn’t love Jessica’s song choice but still think she is the girl to beat.

Philip is a “one trick pony” but I never tire of that same old trick!

Joshua was better than last week but not as good as he was two weeks ago.

Big risk for Elise doing a Robert Plant/Led Zeppelin song. I think she did a good job with it but it didn’t blow me away.

Skylar, DeAndre, and Hollie are the bottom three?

Well, they’re my bottom three. And have been for a while. DeAndre and Hollie annoy me. Skylar just doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe because I’m not a “country” person and she’d have to be more crossover and/or more original to appeal to me.

I know–that’s how I feel about it.

Tough to know who will go home tomorrow…looks like everyone brought their A game. DeeAndre’s song made me cringe, but I guess I just don’t know how that genre of song is supposed to sound like…because the judges seemed to think it was over the moon.

Rather than think about tomorrow’s bottom three, I’ve been thinking about the top 4…and the order the others go home in doesn’t really matter. My top 4, in no particular order: Colton, Joshua, Jessica and Phillip.

Judges liked a lot of people tonight. Might they use their one save tomorrow?

I agree with you completely. I’ve never seen the appeal. All that screaming and stomping around the stage is not at all appealing, in my opinion. She screeches every song in the same way. Her voice has no melodic quality at all.

In fact, there was far too much screaming in last night’s performances, all around. I wish they’d just sing. Just pure singing, for pete’s sake. And all the standing ovations by the judges, well, I was wishing for Simon to magically appear.

I think last night was overall the best night in a lot of years. It think because they could pick songs they like and they were able to show their voices vs having to fit their voices to something that isn’t right for them.

Colton is just amazing. Considering he wasn’t even going to try out, I think that he is the shoe-in winner because it makes a nice story for AI :D. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an early exit from him, al la Pia, for a recording contract though.

It’s beautiful man…

I’m not getting the Colton love, but I do agree he is a good musician.

My guy Heejun did me proud!

alwaysamom - you and I are completely on the same page. Just sing, stop with the screaming! Once again I am missing Simon.

Thanks, showmom. I’m not surprised that you and I think alike on this subject. :)

I also suspect that most of the contestants have sung the songs that they sang last night a lot over the years. It’s not like they had to learn a new song in a week.

Well, Heejun is gone. I didn’t think that the judges would use their save on him. I think that Jimmy Iovine was right–he’s good, but he doesn’t have the chops to go all the way. So it didn’t make sense to save him.

So next week is 80s week…

It really was a good week this time. Heejun was surprisingly good, but they were right to let him go. Holly and DeAndre are the ones that I think are weak links at the moment. Will have to see what happens next week.

Yes, sadly, I agree that Heejun shouldn’t have been saved. I do expect to see him in the future though … his personality makes me laugh, and I do think his singing quality is ‘like butter’ even if he won’t make it on his voice alone.

Please make Deandre go away next … one more falsetto-fingers-scratching-down-the-chalkboard note and I’m going to hit pause and walk away. Cute guy, but he’s not mature enough to use that falsetto wisely. Hollie could also go, but if she relaxes a little and gets out of pageant mode for a week, it could buy her some time. She has potential, but Jimmy was right that she just needs experience.

I really think the one happiest about Hee Jun being sent home was Hee Jun. He seemed like he was under so much pressure and spoke frequently about the fear of letting people down. One week (maybe 2 weeks ago??) H and I remarked that he looked disappointed that he wasn’t the one to be sent packing.

Hollie and Deandre? Yuck. I agree, I hope they’re next, in no particular order.

Elise is starting to come on. For a while, she was perpetual bottom three material. It kind of reminds me of Haley from last year.

Jimmy Iovine doesn’t seem to feel the Colton love…and wasn’t happy with Joshua’s performance. He seems to think that Hollie can’t compete with Jessica. Likes Jessica and Phillip a lot.

I was quite ticked at Jimmy last night for his comments on Colton and becoming emotional. It wasn’t like he broke down mid song and couldn’t care on!! (see Joshua’s performance for that problem!!!) He teared up at the end of the song - did he LOSE votes because of that? Not likely! Likely he gained votes by being thoroughly connected to the song. (now, some people might have been turned off by the “worship” slant, but that’s another story…)

Most times I like Jimmy. Lately he seems to be playing favorites a bit.
