Any DELE Superior students?

Hey, I was wondering how I would include my DELE Superior diploma in college transcripts (for next year). I contacted Cervantes center, and they were unhelpful.

Any other DELE students who have gone through this?

Hi! I took DELE Superior in November 2006. I don’t know whether this helps, but when I was wondering how to include my diploma in my file, I asked my school counselor to mention it in her recommendation. And, if you have a language teacher who knows about your performance, you should ask them to write about it, too. I also sent a copy of the diploma I received. If you don’t have yours yet, your “notificacion de cualificacion” should do. You could also mention it in the additional information section or in the Academic Honors one. As far as I know, Instituto Cervantes cannot do anything once your diploma has been issued and sent. It is not their obligation to inform colleges about people who have successfully taken the exam. That is because it is a language certificate, not a test. And in my country, it is completely unrelated to school work and so, my school authorities do not include it in my transcript. I hope this helps.
BTW, when did you take your DELE and did your school prepared you for it, or did you do it on your own. And, congratulations on passing it!

thanks lilianna, me salvaste la vida! (pero yo voy a aplicar el a~o k viene). I studied on my own. Not much to study really… just downloaded the couple of practice tests on Cervantes websitve. I’m not a spanish native, but I’ve lived in spanish speaking countries long enough, so I’m practically a native. I took the test on May. Anyways, thnx again :D
