For a three hour episode, I thought it moved quickly. They gave us insight into each tribe without over focusing on one. It will be interesting to see if the players like Ozzy can truly re-invent themselves.
Some of the players look like they have had plastic surgery. Has their appearance really changed that much?
Good episode! Loved seeing everyone! Everyone seemed so happy!! Mike looked great! I feel sorry for Kyle. Coach was a little shady. I thought Cirie was a goner!!
I thought it was a great episode. Coach was absolutely being shady, and lying about being shady.
What’s up with Ozzy’s hair.
Colby dissing Rizo for being young was a little “When I was you age, I walked a mile in the snow…” Colby was 26 when he played Outback, and his naivety cost him the game.
Sad to see Kyle go so soon.
Kyle and Jenna were interviewed on CBS’s Morning Show. It was nice to know that Kyle has recovered. Jenna had no regrets with the way she played the game.
I’m a little disappointed in the casting. Half the cast is from seasons 42-49. Do we really need three players each from seasons 37, 46 & 47? And some of these players are pretty vanilla. I’d prefer some Chaos Cass, Debbie Wanner, Phillip, Michaela Bradshaw, or Carolyn.
I’m ok with that, given my bias against players who’ve already played more than twice, and 40 was the last returnee season.
I could argue for a different mix of 41-48 (49 they got right), but we also don’t know who said no from those seasons.
The cast was announced long enough ago that in over regretting that someone is not there. Face it, there are a lot of interesting or great players over 50 seasons!
Agree with just about everything said above. Really sorry about Kyle - his tribe seemed pretty shook up over him leaving.
Coach is an
.
I’m glad they didn’t vote Cirie off right off the bat.
I love how the majority of them seem so thrilled to be there and how they want to have fun - for now. lol.
Also how star struck some of them are with each other. Like Savannah telling Colby how much he meant to her family watching - I don’t love her but that seemed very genuine.
IMO, Ozzy did the work and then Coach stole it. Coach remained silent when Q and Ozzy made a verbal deal. But I’ll bet the challenge was designed this way. No one could seriously lift the key off the peg with the materials they were given, at least from what I could tell.
Just seemed that the game’s design was for the key to fall to the ground and then have all 3 players go after it. And then almost everyone lies about what happens when the 3 players from the 3 tribes go to a individual challenge.
In this instance, I’m not going to fault Coach for the “dishonorable” theft of the key and the subsequent lie about the challenge, when he returned to his group. Coach is not honorable and has no integrity, but everyone should know that by now. ![]()
That’s just me. Outwit, outplay, outlast. Plus, I do enjoy some chaos.
Also, I don’t understand Joe. He’s still holding a grudge that he was hoodwinked by Kamilla and Kyle? It’s been a couple weeks already. Get over it. ![]()
What annoys me about Coach Wade is that he is such a hypocrite—talks all about honor, etc., then plays such a dishonorable game. Have no idea why they keep him in the game. So often there is a chance to get rid of a snake in the grass and for whatever the reason the players keep them around, to their peril.
My thought is that the challenge was meant as it played out. One couldn’t release the key from the bottom which gave another player the option to let everyone else do the work and snag it at the end. It is kind of like the digging challenge where one person didn’t dig at all but watched others and then attacked.
If the challenge was designed that way, I don’t know why Coach wouldn’t have spun his play as strategic - to let Ozzy do the work and then snag it at the end. By hiding why happened, it only made him look like a hypocrite.
And Joe…. I was thinking the same thing. Let it go!
I don’t understand the strategy of hiding a fake immunity idol at tribal council.
So Devin and Christian can say at a future tribal, “Hey, we found this idol, so you can’t vote for us.”
Adam Klein tried a similar strategy with the podium plaque in Winners at War, and has been used in both the Australian and South African versions.
However, Jeff has earlier said that they’d never hide idols at Tribal. Let’s see if the others remember
Wow I’m so nervous each episode because there are SOO many players I need to stay!
I have to say they are all playing pretty hard (except Rizo according to Q) and also having fun and I LOVE IT.
Savannah was disposable for my watching. Girl has her million, I don’t feel too bad.
Also the amount of injuries or health concerns already! We getting old or what?!!
I’ll have to watch a Savannah exit interview - I’m curious what she has to say. I wonder if she was hurt (in a Savannah way) that they voted her off. She was very cordial to Jeff and genuine I believe in being given the opportunity to play again. But it appeared that she had NO words or eye contact with her tribe as she left.
I do have to wonder about her and Rizo only having 2 weeks between seasons. Like physically and nutritionally I wonder if they are just more depleted to begin with? How much can you gain back (not just weight) in 2 weeks??
I never liked Q.
64 year old white men should not rap. There, I said it.
All good clean fun. ![]()
I am
Enjoying this season so much. They are all “players" so they are all PLAYING.
Q is strictly some good entertainment but I didn’t have him on my Bingo card.
