Any Survivor Watchers?

Despite the fact that Jeff kept saying Seasob 50 will be in the spring, it starts at the end of February.

Yes - hey Jeff for many of us who don’t live on the west coast (or Fiji ) February is still solidly winter! I think it’s February 25 (with 2 weeks of old episodes before that)

Thanks. I added it to our shared family phone calendar.

We’ve watched the first few seasons of Survivor, and then the most recent ones, so there are plenty we’ve missed. That means I won’t recognize most of the Season 50 survivors.

I consider The Amazing Race to be Survivor’s sister game show. That said, does anyone know if TAR is having another season this spring (late winter), or do we have to wait until next fall?

We have a soft spot in our hearts for TAR. As retirement approached, we had no thoughts to travel internationally, but TAR showed us how unbelievable Europe can be. Since retiring we’ve been to 9 European countries! Thank you TAR!

The Spring US TV season starts in January, as does the Spring Academic calendar. Spring 2026 fashions are available now. The use of seasons in terminology is really low on my list of things that get my knickers in a twist.

I’m just glad it’s coming back soon, along with preview week.

The official season starts February 25. Starting last night (I believe that was the first night) the are replaying 10 various key episodes of some of the returning players.

I’m watching last night - season 16 (?) with Cerie and Parvati - Cerie is a BABY, so young! Anyway Cerie is coming back but not Parvati.

I hope people here will be watching!

I’ll be watching, although I’m not watching the repeats; I’ve seen already

Very excited about Season 50!! I am in a “Survivor Group” and we had our draft last week. I ended up with Cirie, Stephanie, Coach and Rizo.

I’m rooting for Rizo. The other 3 I would have been happy had they not been invited. And I’m adding Ozzy to that “wish they weren’t here” list, despite being one of my all-time favorites. There should be a limit of times played, with 2 being my vote.

That episode with Ciri aired in 2008—she is now 55 years old! I wonder how some of the older players will adapt to the new, shorter, Survivor-on-steroids game.

It started Monday with Cirie’s Black Widow Alliance episode. Last night was Coach.

Yes I was/am watching one day after an episode airs.

Yes, we were all reminded how super-annoying Coach was…

I had never watched an episode with Coach - I watched one last week and now…I get it!

We have our Snake Draft Sunday night. I’ll get to choose two players to win 50. Random draw so don’t know how long I’ll have to wait to pick.

First episode next week is 3 hours long!!!

Will be DVR-ing and zapping commericials, I tell you what…..

We had our Survivor 50 draft last night - it was so fun as everyone on the thread is quite the comedian . 12 of us, 2 picks each. My first pick was Christian H, my second pick which I don’t have a lot of faith in, but you gotta love him….. Joe from season 48 (the firefighter).

I would have loved to have picked Kamala or Kyle second but they got scooped up!

But my Survivor heart will root for Charlie to stay around for as long as possible!

‘Survivor’ Is America
It’s our greatest game and our truest mirror. And in its tiki-torch-festooned way, it’s captured our society as an ever-changing collection of tribes.
