It is always interesting to see players who got to the end, win or lose, go out early in subsequent appearances. Charlie was still so bitter about the Maria vote that he may not have played quite as well as he did last time. Of course it is also hard to tell from the editing!

I set the DVR to record last night’s Survivor, Parts 1 and 2, AND recorded the cooking competition that comes on after, to ensure that I recorded the entire episode.
I guess the guy who spoke ran over, as the DVR did not record the 2nd and 3rd tribals!! I had to resort to the interwebs to find out who had been sent home. When I looked at the recording of the cooking competition, it started with no footage from the end of Survivor.

I really like Ozzie, I guess sentimentality from watching him over the years, but I don’t know why he is working with Rizzo, who I can’t stand!

It was an exciting episode! I was sad to see Kamila, Genevieve and Colby go! Sounds like if Colby had not gotten voted out he might have been pulled for medical reasons which takes the sting out a little.
Likewise, especially Kamila.
Except apparently for Emily
Who showed absolutely no emotion to his worlds as others were touching and weeping.
My thought is Ozzy sees him as a good string along. Don’t know! We sure didn’t get to see much of them on Exile.

I surely expected Dee to go before too long - no one is keeping a previous winner around till the end! I REALLY did not care for the intimidation of Jonathan and Coach doubling up on her - that’s the way I saw it. I mean if we start counting the lies/liars on Survivor we are going to need a lot of numbers!
I’m sure I would woof it down and it’ll do love Chinese food but I feel like it would not be my first (or my digestive systems first) choice for a reward.
All those people at tribal! More than some graduating classes!

They really played that one up. Frustrating that it ended up with almost everyone on Dee so that all of the discussion was just a red herring. Step was pretty amazing on the journey and loved how Cerie saw through her! Coach is so very annoying.
If they don’t have the numbers, they go along with the masses in order to not put a target on their back. That’s why everyone wanted to vote for Dee. No one wanted to return to camp with someone whose name they wrote down.
Why didn’t Chrissy also play her shot in the dark - that would have been a second chance for them or was that against the rules?
Well, just read this, so yes it would have been against the rules. “In an interesting wrinkle, only one player per pair could play a Shot in the Dark , so Coach played his while Chrissy voted.”

I know the timestamps on posts here are apparently rounded to the nearest hour, but weren’t those comments posted after the episode aired? I’m the biggest anti spoiler advocate, but I thought the general rule is, once it’s aired in eastern time, open a thread at your own risk. Sorry if I’m misunderstanding the situation.
