Anyone watch Parenthood, the tv show?

It was so typical of Christina to tell Max how brave he was and throw dirty looks at the girl. She needed support too.

hmmm I was surprised but then realized that Christina’s words to Max were right on. I f she told him that he had blown it then where woudl the growth have been directed,
That said, I did not like most anything about this episode. The school is just stupid. Did not find Amber’s situation needed.
Glad Hank stepped up but if had been sitting in the car watching that --my kid or not-- I would have called the police.
I kept thinking he would. But then fairy time took over and he was SO STRONG and HE cleaned up the mess–??

I found it an annoying episode, almost entirely. The school storyline is ridiculous and Christina’s dirty look at Dylan were so very wrong. I don’t know how accurate a portrayal Max’s is but it seems to me that he is more and more uncontrollable the older he gets. Even in a school where, as Dylan said, everyone is a ‘freak’, it just seems that his behavior is unacceptable. Why are there no actual professionals there if it is, indeed, a school filled with kids who need some special type of guidance? As I said, the whole thing is ridiculous.

I love Amber but I didn’t like her at all this week. She seems to have reverted too often recently to her irresponsible younger self.

Ruby is a huge brat and it’s getting tiresome watching Hank and his ex deal with it.

And the last bit of annoyance was the return of Jasmine’s mother, looking all dolled up and totally different than ever before. Still interfering and butting her nose into their business. Oh, and a $30/hr. filing job? Seriously?

Ugh. I had hoped that the final season would be better than this.

I, also wondered where one could make $30 an hour filing. I also think Max is becoming scarily out of control. He seems so full of rage and it doesn’t seem like he has learned any techniques to control it. I know it is a tv show but couldn’t there be one other adult at least in the background at that school? But as much as these things bother me, I still enjoy the show.

I was wishing my DD was home so we could make fun of this past episode. Hank and ex wife both handled Ruby staying by herself inappropriately. I would have been ticked off at Hank yet ex wife found him supportive? Really? After disrupting a trip when she tried to make plans for Ruby (shouldn’t have called it babysitting) only to be thwarted by Hank?

Why is Jasmine so precious that she shouldn’t take a well paying job because it’s not something she “wants” to do? We all work to make a living and it’s not always something we want.

Max was acting so bad and Christine told him she was proud? Wow.

Amber acts like she is going to die over nothing?

Lots of ■■■ moments in this episode. The only person I liked was Christine’s baby.

Has anyone read that the folks on Reddit are speculating that Crosby will be the one to die in the finale? Crazy, but the more I think about it, the more I think they might be on to something. He’s engaging in lots of risky behavior these days. Hmmm…what do you think?

I thought he was going to get it in that motorcycle accident a couple of weeks ago…I can’t figure out the reason for that whole scene, unless it was foreshadowing.

My thoughts on the subject of Max’s “brave” behavior: for him, expressing any kind of feelings is beyond difficult. So what he did, even though it was socially inappropriate and uncomfortable, was in fact, “incredibly brave”, as Christine said.

All that being said, the whole school thing is ridiculous for all the reasons listed previously.

Watched on DVR last night. I disliked the last episode. The whole school thing/Christina brave speech annoys me for the reasons others have stated. The “poor Jasmine” stuff from others (not her, though, thankfully) annoyed me too. She is a grown up and contributing to the family. I did appreciate the “can I get an iphone now” reaction from the teen. The Ruby thing was ridiculous. I am tired of the Drew to the rescue story line. I would prefer to see more of Joel and Julia. I am concerned that Crosby may be the reason we need kleenex too. It’s odd - I really care about half the characters and fast forward through the other half!

I get the brave thing. I actually liked that and wasn’t at all surprised that’s the route Christina took. Yeah, the filing job – $30/hour! – as such a tragedy for Jasmine was just silly.

I like the Drew storyline as I have a college sophomore who is struggling with which path to take. He called me after seeing the episode two weeks ago when Drew was trying to pick a major and said, “That’s my life.”

For some reason, I think something will happen to Drew. All these excursions with the Zeke, where Drew is driving. I’m just struck about how Drew’s good driving skills are emphasized. He is always checking his mirrors and blind spots. I’ve never really seen safe TV driving highlighted.

Oh, I hope not, GT!!! That would be horrible.

The only person I liked was Christine’s baby.>>>>>>>>>>>>

LOL! Yep.

It sounds like we may be forgiving of last week’s subpar average and crying our eyes off come the new year.

I am so dreading the end of this show …

O.M.G. I am dreading the end of this show too. Great episode. Back on January 8 for the last 4.

I don’t want to wait until January. Already crying. Did Joel sign the papers???

Nooooooo. Not until January?

My interpretation, no, Joel didn’t sign… They got “otherwise involved”

Wow! Good episode! I do not think Joel signed the papers. So do you think if the person who dies is not Zeek that they will transplant his heart into Zeek?
