Anyone watching Scandal!

Cyrus’ speech had ME ready to vote for him.

I think I need to rewatch that episode.

^^agree!

I agree too. I think I dozed off during part of the episode. Liz North is dead?! (I read a recap, so I wasn’t really surprised).

I also thought, how does Melly get rid of this body and all of its blood? I would have thought the"evil duo" would have had a team ready to move in and clean up. They want her to be President afterall. The future President would have lots of explaining to do if she was found covered in blood with a dead body in her office. She probably would not become President.

I like Liv and Fitz. That was the whole basis of the show. Fitz asked Jake to keep an eye on Liv so that she was protected, if I remember. He was not suppose to fall in love with her. But then again, Fitz was married, so he shouldn’t have fallen love with Liv either.

The funny thing is, all, or certainly most,of the characters on this show are murders and basically really bad people. Yet we watch and cheer for them and want some to win over others. Shondra works her magic!

I was ticked that social media spoiled liz’s death immediately!

I’m in the LOVE Olivia and Fitz camp. Mostly because of him.

Is there anything to the fact that Jake was so comforting to Mellie when he came to clean up? He seemed so calm about it all - is he wanting the power of VP??

Those two people are what nightmares are made of. Fully creepy, especially her!

I just can’t like Cyrus. I do hav a soft spot for his husband micheal.

I think there is something we don’t know about Jake, but I have no idea what it might be. I just have this feel that there is a bombshell out there waiting to be exposed. Maybe it’s because he comes and goes like such a stealth operative, but he is now the VP elect.

Cyrus seems SOOO unstable.

Can the two woman ticket hold???

I always worry about a main character getting killed off. We just lost Elizabeth but for me she wasn’t really “main”. I’m really nervous for Rowan right now. (I’m not well versed in actors/names but that actor does a TREMENDOUS job!)

Joe Morton plays Rowan. Excellent actor. If you’ve never seen it, watch the movie Brother From Another Planet one of these days.

That movie came out when I was a senior in HS and a HS friend was in it so we all saw it. Great John Sayles film! Until you posted it, I hadn’t connected that Joe was Rowan.

I just started watching Dear White People, because I loved the movie, and it features a weekly TV night withe the black students watching a satirical version of Scandal!

^^ right?? I loved that scene.

I am on Team Fitz & Olivia, so I had mixed feelings.

Did you hear the news??? Next season, season 7 will be the SERIES FINALE!!! :frowning:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/scandal-to-end-after-seventh-season/

I suppose there is only so much you can do with Fitz once his term ends, so this makes sense. I’ve seen every episode of Grey’s Anatomy since the beginning and, while I still like it, I feel like she needs to wrap that one up as well by matching Meredith with Alex and calling it a day.

Right - that’s what Shonda said - that she vowed not to take Scandal down the road of “the series that never ends”.

Any guesses if Fitz and Olivia will end up at a “cottage” in Vermont making jam???

I hope Meredith goes with Riggs, Alex with Jo, and Maggie with the younger resident, or whatever he is. I hate to consign Amelia to poor Owen, but it would be good if she would go back to him and they would have a baby. Or adopt one.

Personally, I would love to live with Fitz in a house in Vermont–I think he was planning something more than a cottage  --but it’s hard to see Olivia being satisfied with that. That could be their country home, though. I figure that in the battle against the organization Fitz is a casualty and dies in her arms.

^^Is the first part of your post a reference to Grey’s? Cause it makes no sense to this Scandal watcher!!

Yes, Meredith Grey is the central character of Grey’s Anatomy and she has had more drama in her television life than 50 IRL people could ever experience and remain sane. Hostage scare at the hospital, grenade set to explode during surgery (so sad that they sacrificed the handsome Kyle Chandler in that early episode), plane crash, emotionally distant mother with Alzheimer’s, death of husband, and on and on. I think they are having some kind of hostage trauma drama in the hospital on tonight’s episode based on the previews and it feels like “here we go again.” Maybe my anticipation meter is wrong.

Oh, that’s too bad. This season has been one of my favorites. It’s hard when a favorite show comes to an end. I also agree she needs to end Greys. It’s become a bit boring.

I love Grey’s Anatomy now, in fact I prefer to the earlier days.
