Ok, thanks for replying. I just wanted to make sure we weren’t missing something. We’re OOS too. Maybe they will mail information after their official EA decision date of January 25. I’m not sure how likely it is that my S24 will attend, but I’m excited to learn more about their housing process, potential merit aid, etc. so we’re prepared if he does choose App State.

Letter received in mail. Just letter of admissions, plus bumper sticker, and a poster. Anyone receive scholarship info?

We are OOS and did not hear anything about merit scholarships 
My daughter filled out the application for Honors/scholarships in November ( think it was a 11/15 deadline) and for some reason I think I heard that students find out if they made it to the next round (interviews) in mid January.

Our letter, poster, and sticker arrived today. S24 didn’t apply for any of their scholarships, or to their honors program. Now we just have to continue waiting to hear from all the other prospective schools. App State is only the second decision we’ve gotten so far.

According to last year’s App State thread, signature scholarship notifications went out 1/12 on a Thursday via an email to check the portal. Sounds like it could be any day now, but sometimes timelines shift. Also, a few from this same thread received Honors invites @2/17.

My D24 got accepted a few weeks ago to App but just got a notification about receiving the Excellence Scholarship for App last week. She’s been accepted to 3 other in-state universities but we are waiting to hear from NC State before she makes a decision.

My son was just notified that he has an interview this weekend for the Chancellor’s Scholarship at App State (full ride)!!! Anybody have experience with this process or the scholarship? Any words of wisdom are appreciated.

Question: where did everyone who got Appalachian excellence scholarships see their announcement? Whenever I log into the portal all I see is an option to update my info (demographics, address, etc.), no financial aid section. I don’t think I did receive a scholarship (stats weren’t too high) but I’m just wondering if I possibly missed something?
