<p>And also provided that my IB predicted grade is 40+ and my SAT scores are solid (2000+), would I have a shot at some of the top tier universities?</p>
<p>I know what I’m asking is vague, but my school does not provide much support when it comes to higher education and I just need some kind of indication telling me if I’m headed in the right direction.</p>
<p>Hello. Your ECs sound pretty good, and your predicted IB scores are great. I work with a lot of HK students. It would seem to me that you’d have a good shot at a lot of different colleges. </p>
<p>Which secondary school do you attend in HK? I work with students at CIS, HKIS, GSIS, ESF Schools (Island), etc.</p>
<p>Some of the other factors you will want to consider:</p>
<p>Which major are you most interested in? (this will make a difference in the admissions process)
What sort of learning environment will fit you best? (finding and describing the right fit is crucial)
The essay: if it sounds like every other Chinese student, you’re sunk.</p>
