^^^ Nah, can’t see the game… he’s gets game updates from me via text!!!

(In my first text to him, I told him it was 8° at home <we’re about="" an="" hour="" from="" soldier="" field="">; he texted me back and told me it felt like 10°! Since that first text, it’s dropped to 3°; I haven’t texted him back.)</we’re>

I just heard today that at the Super Bowl they aren’t allowing limos or taxis to drop people off. All those poor rich people and celebs will have to take a bus.

And no tailgating will be allowed - if you bring food or drink, it has to be consumed inside your car. That’s no fun.

I was talking about this with my S… they acquired him from the Rockies, who drafted him in 2010.

It only cost them $12K, but what is the point? Maybe they think they will get more the $12K worth of publicity out of it, because this is just a stunt.

Wilson is no Bo Jackson. Or Deon Sanders. Assuming he is even interested, which it highly unlikely.

They’ve had it inside in Pontiac and Detroit, MI and in Indy. The weather for the Pontiac game was horrible and there was a terrible traffic jam, but that was in large measure caused by the Secret Service’s requirements for VP GHWBush’s motorcade (1982).

I have absolutely no problem with there being bad weather. Some of the most famous games have been played in terrible conditions, from the great Packers/Cowboys game - the Ice Bowl - in 1967 that was so cold the referees couldn’t use their whistles to the 1981 AFC Championship “Freezer Bowl” in Cincinnati between the Chargers and Bengals where the air temp was -9 and the wind chill was nearly -40 to the snow game between the Raiders and Patriots, etc.

Lots of close and exciting games today. New England lost to Miami in a cliff hanger. Same for Dallas vs. Greenbay. Xiggi, what did you think of Romo?

I haven’t been a Romo fan in years. The only person I dislike more is Jerry Jones.

I know that you can look at stats, and, on paper, Romo’s not bad. And yet, he. can. not. win. the. big. game. And, increasingly, he can’t even win the ones you should win, week in and week out. I’m still listening to the postgame coverage, and Garrett kind of threw him under the bus. Sounds like Romo’s changing plays being sent in by Callahan. And Dez Bryant is a baby. The whole team has become dysfunctional, and that starts at the top.
